@@anshuman1979 nepotism did exist in the golden era with kishore kumar being brother of Ashoka kumar. Asha bhonsle being sister of lata mangeshkar. Sd burman gave kishore kumar his first break as a singer eventhough he was not a trained singer. They had an eye for talent. Today they want to mindlessly launch any starkid whose father can bribe the producer in crores. Sd burman was a legend. He also gave chance to nobodies like gulzar. But he was still nepotistic none the less. Just because he was a bengali I will not shy away from pointing that out.
@@anupambanerjee8336 Disagree. Nepotism does not mean you cannot promote your talented children. Be practical. Nepotism is when you prevent talented nobodies to prevent from growing by not giving them opportunities.
Thanks for commenting Rohani. If you observe carefully, there is a major difference between RD and the music didectors of today's era. Pancham used to get "inspired" by a single phrase, and then he used to compose an entirely different tune. Whereas, today's generation literally "copies" the entire tune :)
May God rest her soul. That whole world of warmth and simplicity seems to be disappearing with the passing of such legends. And the sad thing, they are not honoured or remembered the way they shud be. Imagine if we are taking our legends for granted the future gen won’t even care to notify if the so called stars of today pass on.
""भारत रत्न"" किशोर कुमार साहब को शत शत नमन 🙏🙏🙏🙏
A legend talking about another legend
If pancham is a product of nepotism I don't have any problem with nepotism
Yes bro you are right
@Indian kshatriya Way more talented
Nepotism means opportunities are open only for the family. When did SD Burman indulge in it?
