About the Festival:
Established in 1987, Melbourne International Comedy Festival (#MICF) is one of the three largest comedy festivals in the world, alongside Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival.
Over the last week of March and into April every year, #MICF transforms Melbourne into the comedy capital of the world, as local and international comedians take to theatres, pubs, clubs and broom cupboards citywide - shining a spotlight on the silly, the serious, the heart-breaking and the hilarious.
Filming hours of comedy content every Festival, this channel delivers some of the highlights over the years. Delve into the archive of comedy with international stars (such as: Katherine Ryan, Michael Che, Sara Pascoe, James Veitch) and home-grown #aussiecomedy heroes (including: Hannah Gadsby, Josh Thomas, Aunty Donna, Ronny Chieng) and so many more! I'll be one of thousands who discovered Melanie through the Jacinda impression, but have discovered she is actually a really good comedian. We are going to be seeing a lot more of her I'm thinking.
Yeah shes great
Kiwis see her on tv every week
Queen of knee slaps
Love this!
She looks, speaks and moves exactly(!) like Richard Hendricks from Silicon Valley.
I love Thomas middleditch hahahah
Amazing
you're so funny ...tears rolling down my face, no hashtag, just tears from cracking up.
+1 on incorporating a cricket joke. If it was true, Trent does seem like someone who has a good sense of humor :)
I like her, lol
At 1:43 and 2:00, when she said “Mom right”, the subtitles came out as “Mom Ryan” in both occasions. That’s the Aussie/Kiwi accent ladies and gentlemen. “Right” is pronounced as “riiiiight”. Oz/Kiwi accent is about enunciating the vowels (vaaahwels) and exercising (exersaaahysing) the jaw.
PS: Imagine playing a drinking game every time she says “riiiiight”.👍🏿
Be grateful. lol
shes was in my class
lol 9si bhs hahah
Why do New Zealanders hold mics like that
Lots of comedians in the US hold the mic from the bottom too, but usually it’s wired
She's doing really well with a pretty shitty uncooperative small crowd here
She was choice.
