Melodic death is my favourite genre of metal & even though Avatar is more melodic than death, I love them the most out of all of the bands I listened to
@@HarhanDerMann Just listen the riffs sections, the whole structure of the song, the catchy and awful vocals. Then compare this to real Melo Death bands like Be'lakor, Insomnium or Wintersun. And the result is that this song/band its more closer from any Slipknot, Mudvayne, Mushroomhead' songs/style.
I'd heard of Avatar several times over my years being a metalhead, but I never tuned in until tonight. What have I been missing?! The first song I heard was them playing "Hail The Apocalypse" live at Wacken in 2015. Fuuuuug yes!! These guys are metal and weird as a ten-legged donkey taking a bath in Gehenna. Being Vikings makes it even better! 😈🤘
I had never heard of them until I went to download festival this year and they blew me away ......there weren't even on the main stage and I would have gave them "band of the festival" award........ they were incredible !!
Me too! Just discovered these guys about 2 weeks ago. You could tell they are a hard working band. Lots of interviews with Johannas out there too. Faves so far are Let it Burn / Hail the Apocalypse / Get In Line
The instrumental is fantastic, but I believe Johannes could be better with some songs. He typically is pretty winded and mumbles the lyrics and misses notes.
@@bright-_ yes I kinda agree. His cleans always sound amazing but his growls don't always sound that good live. Sometimes they do sound good but sometimes his growls sound like he is pushing a little too hard if you know what I mean. The man sure as hell can scream but sometimes they sound a little weak live but I can't blame him. Your voice needs some rest sometimes
Why nobody notice yet Johannes Eckerström is perfectly can be in next joker movie! in fact i think he is the real one! believe me. just look at this guy!

most of those dislikes most likely came from people trying to keep the likes at 666 when it was there. because youtube algorithm dosnt differentiate between like and dislikes. both are good.
