I am so grateful that you put this on here, I've managed to sneak a quick order in whilst they still have free delivery and the twister yarn was less than half price 😊
I love to read/watch horror AND crochet, a niche that I often feel alone in. Thank you for the book recommendations (I’m a big reader and always looking for my next horror read) and of course all the crochet videos!! A beautiful channel - so positive and right up my alley.
You should check out Noelle W. Ihli, if you haven't! She has some great books that give a similar feel to Natasha Preston (but with solid, closed endings.) Run on Red creeped me out so much that I had to get the audio to finish it because I was too scared to keep reading. Room for Rent, Ask for Andrea, and Gray After Dark will keep you on your toes as well! The Thicket from her is next on my list!
I remember reading Over the Earth I come which is about the Dakota Uprising, Indivisible, and Magadelene's Lost Legacy which I just finished and I just started Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baledree. All of them I would recommend.
I really enjoyed The Island, there was sooooo many twists and turns! I've got a couple of her books on hold with my public library. I'm currently reading One Last Child by Anni Taylor and it's kept me guessing as well so I can't wait to finish it.
Speaking of great endings - 2007 movie version of The Mist by Stephen King! That ending is just simply fantastic (and SK-approved) despite being changed from the novella (which I haven't read yet). On the topic of flashbacks/jumping in time, that's part of the reason why I never finished Stephen King's IT. Just wasn't feeling the back and forth + the darn thing had me terrified of mirrors and drains for days :')
Megan Miranda Last to vanish and the only survivors were both great. One follows the survivors of a fatal bus crash and the secrets they hold. Last to vanish on the other hand is based on the edge of the Appalachians. The main character must figure out why people keep vanishing and what is going on in her small town. 5 outta 5 bats for me personally 😊
Ok so I’m getting the book chosen for this month with no problem and decent price next week . But the other one heads will roll seems to be rather steep in price in uk 😢 I’ll have to wait for that one . Fab video as always 🖤🖤
