In all my years I have never seen that happen before
Not DnD, but a few years ago, I GM a game where the minions rolled in the negative for initiative. The players annihilated them before they got a turn. The dice gods deem weird things from time to time.
@@Wanttowrite i saw an interesting idea for initiative from the channel Dungeon Craft, where the players roll and average out their score, then compare that to a predetermined number for the enemy, then go in groups, all player characters and allies go, then all enemies. I've not tried it yet but it seems like a good shortcut for large groups of minions/ low level throw away guys
Hm... I mean, I haven't played with that rule, but it seems like that would lead to a long break in the middle of the round where the GM just does a bunch of stuff in mostly silence.

Adam and Jay, being that this is a Preview’d studios production, just want to say thank you so much for this series, and everyone involved, the cast and everyone BTS, because of the pop culture zeitgeist, I kinda knew what D&D was, but never played it or really took time to research about it. I’m having so much fun. Please keep this going. I know it must take so much and cost a lot to produce, but if we could get these every once in a while, it would be awesome! Thanks for introducing me to this awesome realm of nerddom! 🙏🏽

This really is a lot of fun. I have no idea what would have happened if Rory hadn't pulled that rescue out of nowhere.
Episode 8 would have been titled, "Introducing The C Team!"

Blimey! I had to hold off watching BA on the lead up to the festive season because life got crazy and now I'm really glad I'm binging all the remaining episodes... because waiting a whole week for the next episode would be torturous!

This was an amazing episode. The action was crazy the roles were some how crazier, lol That ending. Liked the episode as soon as I got here at the start, commenting after for the engagement. Can't wait for next week.

Is it commen that the group of enemis get the same initiativ?
Man I’ve been excited for this battle. Been waiting for it all week. Bric getting a zero initiative before rolling the luck point was crazy. I was waiting for a zero to be rolled in this campaign. It literally feels like you transcend existence when you roll lower than a one. Nice that there is some unique description with each Z knight. Really funny that Marlin called it with Kaesha rolling a nine. I’ve been playing an echo knight fighter in a campaign and the echo does not give you advantage with flanking because it’s incorporeal because it’s not an ally. I have a whole rules post about echo knights with how their stuff works. And unfortunately the echo doesn’t give advantage. People might called me that guy now with the rules but I’m playing an echo knight fighter and know how it works with study of the build. Why do I feel like Josh doesn’t remember his stuff with Todd every week? And understandable that Monks might be a little bunkers, they are not bad at all. Once again Jay’s laugh is so contagious and I love it. Jay always makes me laugh. Jay really wants that Chili’s sponsorship so bad lol. These Z knights are pretty strong individually besides Kasha. I’m glad Jason was there to help out with the players stuff and keeping David in check. Just like it’s said, not every DM is perfect and there can be mistakes. I’m like that when I’m a player too, I like it to be fair for both ends of the table in combat and spells. Everyone should have a good time in every session. Such a Hail Mary move from both Marlin and Bric. Rory with the clutch Nat 20 was insane!!! Woooah boy we’ll see what happens next week on Bonus Action!!! I feel bad for Jay he looked so defeated after what happened. Hope you are doing ok bud, things happen it’s not the end of the world.
