Hi Aryn, the socks for your mother-in-law turned out great and I love the socks for your mom. That contrast yarn works really well with the self-striping. It's started to feel hot & humid here this week, so I can tell summer is coming. We were lucky in that while it was too cloudy to see the first half of the eclipse, the weather cleared up and we were able to see the second half. We were in the path of about 90%, but with the clouds we didn't really get the effect of the dimming of the sunlight either.
Thanks Amanda! It's so satisfying to see older skeins from my stash get used :) I'm not sure if I'm ready for humidity, but a little heat would be nice. It's still so chilly most days and I'm itching to get out a little more. That's cool that you at least got to see part of the eclipse!
