It’s like, the exact same thing and the “complainer” says the same things as the original.
People (especially the nerds who can't play one game without complaining) always seem to hate shotguns. I mean, there are literally ways to outgun a shotgun user. Just stay back with a sniper or AR and go wild.

The fact i wanna point out is that the KS-23M, DB shotgun, Model 870, and any Shotgun with slugs has a higher skill floor and skill ceiling than alot of Assault rifles.
Imagine some Aug x Para user calling a DB shotgun user skillless despite the fact hes using the Aug para because he can't handle Recoil
Stevens DB w/ slugs, Paradox Choke, and on burst is actually pretty nutty imo. Pair that with a PSO-1 scope (more so because it visually looks nice than anything else), and you basically have a more portable base NTW-20 that sacrifices capacity and penetration to be able to be aimed while standing.
Unlocked the dt11 a day ago. It is not a good cqc shotgun stock. Spread is low enought that you cant just hipfire when people are close to the center of your screen.
@@DarkSkyies I have two setups that’ll help with your CQC troubles.
First is Sawed Off barrel + 000 Buck (+ CQC optic of your choice). Real original, I know, but hear me out: it’s a 2-pellet kill in CQC with wide spread, so even if you only have 6 pellets per shot, kills should be fairly consistent, doubly so if you hitmarker within this setup’s effective range and fire a followup shot.
Second is a lesser-known setup imho, with 3 1/2” shells, Combat Barrel, and the Olympian Stock (along with a CQC optic of your choice). This actually has a better movement speed than above, and while you don’t deal as much damage as above, your damage profile, spread, and pellet count are much more in line with your average shotgun than with either the stock DT11 or the setup above. The Olympian Stock helps tame recoil too, but keep the recoil delay in mind too. While you may need an extra pellet to kill compared to above, effective range is less of a concern due to the much tighter spread.
This is why batlebit didnt add shotguns, people will complain about them regardless of their place in the meta lol

It feels weird to see an fps game without a shotgun. Almost every FPS games nowadays have at least 1 shotgun
Has a ks-23 harpoon main i can safely say that, shotguns are definelly one of the most fun guns to use
Harpoon is busted, 5000 headshot damage cqc.
Minishells for the SPAS-12 are plenty fun to use, especially with Remove Stock for a 14.7 stud/s walkspeed with a 12+1 capacity, and is still capable of a one-shot should all pellets hit, which happens more often than you think.
Super Shorty with Birdshot, Full Choke, and Traditional Pump is fun too. Despite the low per-pellet damage, you can reliably get one-hit kills up to about 60 studs.
For shotgun *conversions,* I found the VPO-209 fun, taking an AKM and using shot, Carbine Barrel, and Remove Stock to get a CQC manstopper. Thanks to Carbine Barrel’s headshot multiplier buff, it takes one pellet to the head to get a 4-pellet kill as opposed to a 5-pellet kill, which makes it reliable in CQC when paired with the increased spread and above average pellet count.
Last but not least is the 1,000 damage Sawed Off setup, which uses Improved Choke, Birdshot, and Boom Stock (the latter more to resemble the Super Shotgun than anything). Birdshot and Improved Choke together keep pellet spread tighter, while also hovering above the 1,000 damage threshold when bursting (specifically dealing 1,020 damage).
Apart from these setups… remember when the M79 had 12 default pellets instead of 10, and the short barrel actually increased damage (at least in test place)? Good times.

@@camarokidbb4347 Would rather deal with that then get 1 shot by a cringelord using a shotgun. And stop with the whole no recoild shit. Not everyone who uses a SMG or AR have thier setup be no recoil based because it is boring. Dealing with shit that 1 shots or kills in 1 second is way more annnoying then playing against a no recoil setup.

Lol I recognize this from it being based of AceOceriana’s video about Pyro mains. I didn’t think that it could be used in any other way though, so props to you for showing that it can be done. Also I don’t mind the secondaries but do dislike when people used them as their main weapon.

this is exactly how people talk about the bfg, ive asked so many people why they hate it and they always have opposite reactions: "its easy to use" or "its trash", but they always agree to hate it...
I think the BFG is just bad . . . As a gun. Like, it's not that hard to go up against, it's just generally easy to use. I see it more as like training wheels then anything, it's easy to use, but once you get to a certain point, its reload limits your potential to get a high amount of kills. But, below that point, I don't have a problem with it.

@@SteveTheTaco64 Well, you could always change it up, and become an SFG main. If used correctly, it can be a hellishly effective CQC weapon, but then again, it's a completely different playstyle. I haven't used the Hecate, but I hear it has the benefits of the BFG with a higher capacity.

I'm a pump action shotgunner and I always been dealing with people demanding to use a "real gun" while in reality they just spray and pray, get ton of kill and said they know how to aim.

Am i the only one who thinks that people using stuff like the M16A3 are almost on the same tier as the people who use stuff like the AA12? I mean come on, low recoil, high firerate, and high DPS.
Sure the AA12 can one shot at close range, but like the M16 can take out a bunch of people with a single spray. Yea sure shotguns might be easier to hit, but youre sacraficing range
truth is, people complain about shotguns regardless of game or balancing.
what separates players isn't the weapon they're using, but rather their individual skill, and their ability to adapt to different situations.
for example: if a shotgun main goes on desert storm, they wouldn't try to take long range fights, in fact they would want to force their opponent to play closer, or when you're fighting against shotguns, gain some distance, or try to make them miss at least half of their pellets.
it's also what separates good maps and bad maps, is the amount of ways you can approach something. this is why many good players in the community love warehouse.
