Really been enjoying your videos. I'd pass on the rocks. The town is really neat. If you liked WV I would really suggest going out to Utah for either or their ATV Jamborees. I went to the one in Richfield in September of 2015 and had the best time.
John McCall .. Yeah I could do without the rocks but the views are incredible in Colorado!! Utah is on our to do list for sure! Later this summer we’re going to make our first trip to South Dakota to ride the Black Hills national Forest. Really looking forward to it! Thanks for watching and commenting greatly appreciated!
I was born and raised just a few miles from there. It used to be a lot more beautiful before atvs became popular. I understand these vids showing people what's out in these places. If you visit, please be respectful and responsible and pack your trash out and obey the 20 mph speed limits and don't chase the wildlife. Every year they close more and more places because of the stuff listed above and ruin it for everyone. Respect this beautiful state and help it remain open. Thank you :-)
Cool ghost town but too busy for me! Love the rocky hill climb, reminds me of Mysquito Pass! That Iron Chest Mine Trail looked pretty Gnarly! Awesome area, have to add that to my "to do" list! Thanks!
Ha ha.. that's what I thought about the ghost town!! Very busy basically a tourist attraction. It was very cool to see though. Never been to Mysquito Pass. Is it in Colorado ?? Yeah I had heard about Iron Chest Mine trail. Didn't really want to run that trail you could do some damage pretty easy!! Wheels skid plates you name it!! It was Gnarly for sure!! Thanks for checking out our Colorado videos Rob!! Appreciated!! KC
OK 13,100 wow that's getting up there for sure! I'll check it out. This year not going to Colorado we are going to West Virginia to the Hatfield & McCoy trail sys. Hopefully it'll be as fun as Colorado. Looking forward to it!!
Man I loved watching this video. We were there this last August. First SXS trip out there. Been going there for 12 years now. We boondocked up in Union Park. I see you guys stayed at Holt’s. We normally stay there on out guy trips.
Wow Buddy you’ve been going there for 12 years! We went for two years in a row loved it, although I don’t know when we’ll make it back out to Colorado. That’s awesome you enjoy watching this video! It makes it all worth it when folks say they enjoy our vids!! Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment!!
nice video i,m looking forward to another summer visit could not help but read your question bob i can usually leaving from taylor trading post can make it mt antero in 3-1/2 to 4 hrs one way depending on traffic coming off of mount antero and thats with mirror lake tin cup pass st elmo running through iron mountain camp ground
@13:55 that is the Iron Chest trail you are on. That particular section is called the rock garden. Had you kept going a bit more you would have cleared the rock garden and the rest is like a sunday drive. At the entrance to Grizzly the "Gate Keeper " lived up to its name.
Good video KC! I really enjoyed the tour of St.Elmo and the slide show at the end. YIKES, that trail to Iron Chest was crazy! I love rock crawlin', but not for 2 miles - lol Did I hear an "F" bomb come out of your mouth at 18:08? - lol. Thanx for sharin' your "Colla-radda" experience with us!
Hey Q.. How are you doing buddy? Every time I read one of your comments I.. LOL!! hAhahaha Yeah that Iron Chest trail was way too much for us! Yikes I agree! Hope You all enjoyed our Colorado videos we had a Great time!!!! Did u say "F" bomb... May have let one slip hope that was OK lol hahahaha!! Thanks for comments Q appreciated!!!
Wow! That was an amazing trip to watch, I can only imagine how much fun it was for y'all to be there making the videos!!! Many thanks for taking us along! It's a trip I'd love to make, maybe I will one day but it's a 1600 mile trip for me to get there! Keep 'em coming for those of us who can't make it in the very near future!!!!
phantom .. Thank you very much!! Yes that trip was a blast!! It took about a year of planning to make it happen. Riding those Colorado Mountains is incredible for sure!! It was a little over 12 hour trip to get there from where we live here in Kansas. 1600 miles would probably be over 25 hours that's a long ways. Glad you enjoyed our Colorado series of videos!! Thanks for tuning in and for all the comments!!! This year we are going to the Hatfield & McCoy trail system in west Virginia. I'll have the camera rolling!!
Hey, dan Colorado definitely has a lot of beautiful ATV trails for sure! Are you going to the Taylor park area? Have a fun ride and thanks for watching!
That ghost town looked awesome! Just too many people. Too bad the only way in wasn't by ATV, that would really cut down on the crowd 😆 That Rocky hill climb seemed pretty technical. I'm guessing it was steeper than the video actually portrayed too.
Midwest ATV .. Yep I agree about the ghost town! Didn’t seem like a ghost town with hundreds of people there LOL! It was still fun to see it pretty amazing tourist attraction. Yeah that trail heading over there was definitely rough and rocky for sure. But it was worth the trip we had a blast! Thanks for watching and commenting very much appreciated!!
Lot of the vids I watch they only just drive along no talking and then they end them before they ever get off the trail Don't like the short ones that end before they get back
FYI. if its rocky you're better off kneeling on the seat with one knee and leaving the other leg on the footboard/peg... (old 40 year old snowmobile trick)
Fischer Quality Construction 21 .. Pretty rough hahahahaha. Well let’s just say it’s basically used by Offroad enthusiast Who are In and out there with dirty boots clothes and etc. Definitely not five, probably built in the 70s and have not been updated. Duck tape holding the carpet together yeah, stove and refrigerator old and outdated yeah, but working. Basically a place to sleep hot shower and get back out on the trail. Thanks for checking out the video!
I think ATVs are OK as long as they stay on the developed trails. Problem is way too many don't and ruin wilderness areas and then they end up getting closed to everyone.
Hi Robert most of the trails you can fine by going online and searching a particular area for ATV trails. You can search ATV trail guide in Colorado, you can purchase a book that has all of these trails in it. Hope that helps you thanks for watching!
Hi John .. We are using Sena 10s units from SENA they are Bluetooth motorcycle communicators we really like them it's nice being able to communicate with other riders for sure. Couldn't imagine riding without them now. You can check them out at Sena.com hope that helps you and thanks for stopping by and checking out the video greatly appreciated!
Seems you guys like riding like we do and go to a lot of the same areas. If you get a chance, I have a bunch of videos on you tube also. One more question, how many units can be on at a time?
Hey John.. with the 10s units you can have 4 riders connected and communicating at the same time. There are other units out there that will connect more I believe. I'll check out some of your videos. You say we have ridden some of the same areas?
Hey KC, My nephew and I are going to Tincup this summer. My questoin is can we make it from Ticup to Tincup Pass then to Mt Antero and back in a day??? I think this is the 3rd time i watched this and never heard the F-Bomb Q was talking about lol. But i did today, eh it happens.
Hey.. Bob how you doing buddy I've been in your neck of the woods all week! Yep been in Dallas doing some training for work just got back! Hey thanks for watching the vid 3 times LOL!! OK to answer your question , I'm a bit confused.?? I looked on the map and MT. Antero is about 30 to 50 miles away from Tincup via Gravel and paved roads. So are you going to ride Tincup pass on your ATV's and then trailer over to MT. Antero?? Tincup pass goes over to ST.Elmo.It probably takes about 2 hours to run Tincup pass to ST. Elmo As far as the time to get to MT Antero not sure how long that would take? OK Bob I don't know if any of this info will help? I hope so! If I'm not understanding what you're talking about let me know.
thanx for the reply, yah you did, looking at google maps they make it looked shorter. Looks like we may set a day just to do MT Antero. We wanna do cumberland and tincup passes. Weve set 3 days just to run taylor park area.
atvguy .. I agree that's was one rough gnarly trail!! You could tear some stuff up there we were way to far from camp for that!! lol Thanks for checking it out!!
LRM17 ROMO .. I don’t have an address. You should be able to look it up on line, trail from Tincup to Saint Elmo. The trail system started off at that Taylor Park area. Hope that helps you thanks for watching!
I have watched these quite a few times and see something new each time. Just so nice to watch, incredible views
Hey Terry! I agree the views are incredible in Colorado!!

This year not going to Colorado we are going to West Virginia to the Hatfield & McCoy trail sys.
Hopefully it'll be as fun as Colorado. Looking forward to it!!
I thought the same thing about how busy it was. Seems like a lot of people for a "ghost town" 😆

I'm new to this just got a fourwheeler how do you find these kind of routes
Hi Robert most of the trails you can fine by going online and searching a particular area for ATV trails. You can search ATV trail guide in Colorado,
you can purchase a book that has all of these trails in it.
Hope that helps you thanks for watching!
I don't see any gas stations anywhere.... you could be screwed big time... atv don't fail me now! Lol
You’re right there wasn’t any stations for miles! We were carrying fuel though. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Hey KC, what are ya'll using for radio communications. They sound pretty clear.

You can do Mt Antero in a day easily. We run from Taylor Park over Tincup, through St Elmo and the campground, then catch the trailhead.
wow that has to be one the worst rocky trails i ever saw lol going over all those rocks .
atvguy .. I agree that's was one rough gnarly trail!! You could tear some stuff up there we were way to far from camp for that!! lol

You got a address for that place ? I would love to go riding there

The trail system started off at that Taylor Park area.
Hope that helps you thanks for watching!
Trade in for a RZR 900 Trail utv
