- In this video, we're going to take a look at one of the masterminds behind Bitcoin, Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. We'll explore his influences and how they came together to create Bitcoin.
We'll look at Berkeley DB, dash lucre and digicash, three technologies that played a role in Satoshi Nakamoto's creation of Bitcoin. By understanding his inspirations, we can better understand how Bitcoin works and why it has become such a popular cryptocurrency.
In this video, we're going to take a look at the mastermind behind Bitcoin, the secretive Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. By understanding his inspirations, we can better understand how both bitcoin and satoshi nakamoto works.
We'll do this by walking through the code of bitcoin (specifically the database portions), and looking at the code of dash lucre, and lucre - Наука та технологія
Thank you for teaching us! I love this kind of videos like the one you did on Forh.
you are so welcome, i really enjoy this type of video, glad others do too
Excellent video!
im a huge fan of Bitcoin, it has completely kickstarted my software development journey
i think there is a lot of good stuff to learn from bitcoin
@@chrishayuk 100% - Lightning is great too...and L402 !
Great video👍👍!
Thank you, one that I definitely enjoyed doing
Well said Chris!!
Thank you, glad you liked
You still need to build w BDB if you want to use the legacy wallet in core.
i guess that makes sense. tbh, not built the latest code. would be an interesting comparison
@@chrishayuk Yea I am pretty new to reviewing it, but I found getting it setup with the legacy wallet and BDB was not too difficult. I followed BitcoinOpTech Taproot workshop which involves setting up a full testing environment with the legacy wallet.
I'm not dev so I'm wondering if Bitcoin is scalable without sacrificing decentralization
Do you think Ian Goldberg is Satoshi Nakamoto?
Any clues on what the log in is all about?
I’m not sure of the question to be honest
At 9:04 where Satoshi is doin some log in
@@bmoualife got it... in the video i talk about how satoshi really understands transaction logs and recoverability. in this case he needs to to switch off auto-removal of the transaction logs. the reason is that if there is a power failure or something but the transaction logs get autoremoved then you can't recover, where as with logs plus last know good checkpoint means that the transactions can be recovered. hope that helps
ah wait, you might be talking about the non-commented line.. he's just opening an error log file and doing some debug... remember this is a very early version. this way he ensures the log file is created.
Thank you Chris for clarifying that for me. It’s a great clue, more then the world knows.
256 Pb Vs 281Tb
Scale.
You (Chris Hay) are satoshi nakamoto!
It's Craig.
I thought this video made it obvious it wasn’t. Must try harder
That is a coincidence that he'll Finney and Craig Wright work together
Check out the court case
Craig is nothing but a conman and the utterly disastrous state of BSV is an obvious testament to that fact.
A conman that isn't coning anyone.
I've been in the crypto spaces 2010 who's getting conned
I'm Sorry but 97% of the information where people are getting is totally incorrect
Don't Trust me en go and do The Research.
I have met Craig Wright face-to-face in 2017
