0:55 idk if u got them right bc it depends on which car your in for the announcement I think bc every one knows the elevator is at the front at Bedford Avenue but I was I was in the first car and it said rear of the Plattform
I don't like Kathleen's announcements. Catherine's announcements had more liveliness and calmingness in them, Kathleen's announcements are all cold and straightforward. Also I don't like the rerecording of 7th, Church, and King's Highway couldn't the MTA use the old ones made for the F train?
The MTA is using the (A) recording of 7th, Church and Kings Hwy. I prefer Kathleen's announcements, the straightforwardness is a good thing in my opinion, and I wouldn't call them cold. But I do think the announcements should stay as they are on the R160s
I’m not sure if the B will actually get R211’s. If anything, it might receive R160A-2’s from the G and R160B’s from the R. The G and R will probably get R211’s, and the A’s R179’s might be displaced by R211’s and sent to the G and C. The D might receive R211’s though, and R160B’s from the R, and maybe during rush hours the B might also use R211’s. The C I don’t think will get R211’s though. I think it might receive R160B’s displaced from the G (both Alstom and Siemens sets), and 10-car R179’s from the A. The C’s 8-car R179’s might get sent over to the M, which might also get R211’s, so all the R160A-1’s on the M will likely be sent over to the J/Z and L. The J/Z and L will not use R211’s and will continue using pre-COVID era NTT’s, (i.e., R143’s, R160A-1’s [J/Z and L] and R179’s [J/Z only]). The E can continue using R160’s, both the A-2 and B sets. The F however can use both R160’s (both A-2’s and B’s) and R211’s, and during rush hours when the E is running with the F to Jamaica-179th Street, the E can use R211’s as well, interchanging trains with the F. The Q will be the only other Broadway line to use NTT’s, and may use both R160A-2’s and R68’s (also using R211’s during rush hours). The R68’s on the B and D and R68A’s on the B and Q will likely end up being sent over to the N, W, and Rockaway Park Shuttle, with the N and W getting R68’s from both the B and D, and the R68A displacement being separate, with the Q’s R68A’s sent over to the N and W and the B’s R68A’s sent over to the Rockaway Park Shuttle.
Final prediction: A: R211’s only. B: R160A-2’s and R160B’s (R211’s during rush hours only). C: R160B’s and R179’s. D: R160B’s and R211’s. E: Same as the B. F: R160A-2’s, R160B’s, and R211’s. G: R179’s and R211’s. J/Z: R160A-1’s and R179’s (R143’s during rush hours only). L: R143’s and R160A-1’s. M: Same as the G. N/W: R68/A’s only. Q: R68’s and R160A-2’s (R211’s during rush hours only). R: R160A-2’s and R211’s.
I think the C will use R211s, the E and F will get the 211s, the B and will get those R160s, the R68s will go to the N/W and Q. The G might get longer trains from the R (if the R uses the 211s) also, Jeez. That's a long comment.
@HeyItsVince My prediction A: R211s and 179s B: only 160s C: 211s and 179s D: same as B E: R160s and (some) r211s F: same as E G: R160s from the R BMT Eastern Division: Same as normal N/Q/W: R68s and (some) R160s R: 211s
@X'Zavier Probably not. The G doesn't really need 8 car trains since they can increase capacity by running more 5 car trains. Also, ENY is unlikely to receive R211's. Why? I'll tell you: 1) It already has R143's, R160’s, and R179’s 2) The MTA only purchased 5 car sets so far.
@@seventhavenuesubway123 that's what the R211 Announcements sound like, they use the first recorded Announcement for a Station (example, A/C Announcements on the F line) R160 B train announcements sound different. (Look up "B train announcements")
Not sure of the actual day this was recorded, but now at 42nd street the BDFM trains are transferable with the rest of the many other subway lines at Times Square and 8th Avenue. They opened a short walkway over by the shuttle to Grand Central.
It’s a good fit for B and D train announcements.
I was doing the same thing but with F via G
now that's why there are going to update the next stop is for the r160a r160b and r143 models for the Kathleen voice the next stop is
👍👍👍

@@XZavierdoesStuff yup that to
Can u extend the R211 B train to Bedford Park Blvd, please? And add the Charlie Pellett's Metro-North Connection at 161st Street and Fordham Road?
Or Jessica's version of Metro North
No r211 propulsion in the background 😕

@clbtransit4789 in the jamaica yard there were some R211s (A or T)
i was just wonder if you know that mr railfan made a staten island railway announment
I did know
Do the the D Next Same things but via West End and 4 Avenue
Can you do the 2 to Wakefield 241 street
Maybe
I love that train 😊 imagine if Kathleen voices TNSI announcement but she's only meant for the lettered lines.
Is it confirmed that B will get the 211s? I know they need NTTs for CBTC
The (B) is not confirmed to get R211s. If Jamaica Yard gets R211s, the (B) will probably run some of those displaced R160s, along with the (D)

How is it R211 announcements? They are legit the same as R160
These use Kathleen's "the next stop is, ___" and " This is, ___"
Just because they use different announcements doesn't mean they are classified as R211s, even though they haven't came into service
