You have been killing it lately. I loved the whole "Why is Collecting Bad" series and looked forward to it each Monday as I got ready for work. I dont collect mythics, I probably won't, but I see them all the time and this was beyond informative. Great job and this was a great watch, I watched start to finish.

Great informative video! I've been into Legions for a little over a year. Illythia being the first wave that I preordered. As I've gotten more into Legions, I've stopped collecting Marvel Legends and really cut back on Star Wars/GI Joe/etc. I just like these figures! The sculpts, details, paint. No comparison to mainline action figures. My only complaint with Legions is the articulation. Its good as is but I'd like more! Lol.
Many of my friends say "I have no connections to Legions" - no movies, no comics, novels, etc. I like the lore and make up my own stories! That's what we did as kids ... right??

Thank you! And you’re so right - when we played with toys as kids we didn’t have to follow any lore we just played. That’s a big thing I like about this line - plus they do have their own lore.

What an awesome video, really helped me solidify my decision to start collecting this line. Is there any way you can list what the "Four Horsemen" figures are again? I thought I heard you mention they were releasing each one. I'd love to get each one. You the man Dub. Love watching your content.
Arethyr and Aethon were the first Horseman and Rider release, then came Illythia and Phobus, just now releasing are Poxxus and Phlogeus then the final is Necrominus and Conabus who should be released late this year or early next year. I’d highly recommend the source horsemen website as they have all sorts of great information.

You have a fantastic collection! Just got introduced to Four Horsemen, specifically the Mythic Legions line and I'm very impressed with the creativity of their figures. Harkens back to memories of the original Wizardry PC bestiary. Excited to see what else they can create. I'd love to see more of the fantastical monsters, mimics, slimes or corrosive slimes, undead clerics et al.
I’ve learned now that since I like them I need to preorder direct to save money and make them reasonable. Occasionally pick up one at retail but man secondary market prices make me be very very picky!

Great video! Luckily I stayed clear of Mythics (except for Santa & the horseman). Trying to resist Cosmic Legions though!! I agree with you about Super7 - that accessory set was not enough for me to bite (maybe if it included a hooded CC head).

Yeah mythic legions are very expensive. Especially at the aftermarket. But they are incredibly awesome figures tho.

Thank you for this video, truly informative! Over the weeks watching you purchase these figures and feature them in your videos, the price point is not bad getting them directly from the Four Horsemen. I live in NJ and will purchase my first figure or figures at ToyCon NJ which the Horsemen will be there. Have the itch for medieval figures now since I go the Warduke and Grimsword from NECA which are great figures also. Glad to hear you are going to Legions Con hope I can met you there since you will be in my backyard. For a newbie which figure or figures should I get to start with?
If you are going to be at ToyCon NJ I would recommend grabbing something from the All Stars 5+ wave. I imagine they’ll have those on the table now that they’re available. Look up that wave and find one you like. Some really good ones in it.

That is actually a custom head that I have on a Scaphoid body - normally it would be a green skull.

They’re customs I bought from an artist.
Do mythic legions come from magic the gathering if not where do they come from ?
They do not - they are an entirely unique intellectually property, created by the Four Horsemen Studio.
I just want the moose and a barbarian or a knight to ride it lol
