I don’t know if they even care anymore? I mean they are gonna sell regardless bcs a large number of people don’t realize all the amazing products indie makeup brands produce at similar or cheaper price points. They only know what they know and what they see in stores. That’s what I and my fellow content creators are for! Juvias place older pallets were amazing. I have makeup like a utuber lol. I moved from Texas to Arkansas so been absent. So true.

Estee Lauder absolutely RUINED Too Faced when they bought it. I HATE the cardboard packaging, the formulas are all different. The first chocolate bars and peach palettes all had a sweet taste and that stopped as soon as the company was sold. It's just sad. My literaly favorite brand was completely destroyed.
I had forgot which large brand bought them. Too bad too bcs EL makes amazing foundation. I saw on the Ulta flyer that Jarod and Jeremy started a new brand, I wonder if I should try it??

Thanks for the in-depth review. I think I’ll pick this up with Ulta points. Too Faced always makes very ‘wearable’ color stories-the shimmers are never atomically sparkly and the colors are never pigmented as all get out. That works well for daily use for me! I really want them to get out of their comfort zone and try a multichrome or something like that.
Yeah definitely try to get this one sale, please don’t pay full price for it! I can totally see this being good for everyday wear. I would love to see a multichrome in one of their palettes!
The Italian spiritz formula was made in Italy. So for a lot of people that made us excited for that one.

I bought two of the mini holiday palettes last year at full price. It was my first Too Faced purchase and I was SO excited.... those palettes were trash. My cheapest palettes performed better than those. I will never again pay full price for anything from them and I'm really not even tempted to buy from them at all.
Thanks for sharing that! I think TF makes other products that are good but eyeshadows are no longer one of them. They use to be, but not anymore.
Which ones? I bought the Gummy Bear and it's not trash. No issues with pigmentation, blendability or any of the shimmers. It's very pretty. I also have the hot chocolate one and it's nice too... No issues with any shade. Have been using both many times
I bought the Santa palette and I love it!
I used to pay full price, but I found most of their things really go on sake, and it's like they can't even give them away.
The Italian Spritz palette was quite good.

@@SteffsBeautyStash they're not a fan of thunder, but I have pet safe calming gummies for them. I only have 6 now. I found all the rescues homes, it was a bit crazy for while. I'm now only going to foster kittens. The rescue was so much work and very expensive.

Get American Homeshield!!! Totally worth it, they replaced mine they could not fix my AC after 3 months. I only paid my $100 deductible and I got a $15k unit replacement. Only clause is you need to have insurance at lease 90 days. I love them for the most part. They’ve replaced my dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and washer all for $400. They’ve saved me over $5k in that alone.
NO WAY! I had them for my convertible and they didn’t cover a darn thing. Waste of $500. Will never go with them again.

I decluttered my Pumpkin Spice last year because the shimmers stopped performing, just like you experienced. I was hoping you'd say this Maple one is a dud so that I would not be tempted to buy it, but that 1st look you did with the green and pink -- so beautiful! Those shades are the best in the palette; I'd be interested to know if they hold up.
No wait for it to go on sale at least!! Don’t pay full price please don’t! It’s gonna be around until Christmas at least!

The looks turned out gorgeous! But since they are not really doing the tin pans anymore im just not interested. I used to collect all the tins and here the past couple years they no longer draw me in. Im actually thinking of decluttering all my Too faced since I lean more to luxury and indie brands lately. You are correct, alot of indie brands perform so much better at that price ❤❤❤❤ But yes the liquid lipsticks from Too Faced are really good. I have so many of those!
It’s hard to say goodbye to a brand we have all had in our stash for so many years! I’ll keep trying these fall palettes but that’s it as far as eyeshadow goes. Unless they miraculously change their formula, highly doubt, then I’ll reconsider.
The color story - while I don’t think the name matches - is beautiful. I wish the quality was better. I gave up on Too Faced holiday palettes when they moved to the cardboard packaging. It’s a shame, really.
I’ll stick with my Oden’s Eye for the quality. They have some similar color stories (Jewels and Gem, Stone and Rock, or even Flora Story) and I already know I love those palettes. 💖

@@marshabrink2613 that’s totally fair. I have and love that palette. I just think that the cardboard packaging on their holiday releases SO FAR seems to maybe be an indicator of lesser quality than those holiday palettes in the tin packaging. I wish it were easier to tell which Two Faced palettes are the good formula vs the bad. Because it is inconsistent. But like I said, you’re right - the Natural Nudes palette is beautiful. And I love their Pumpkin Spice etc palettes of old.
You really do the best with all the shadows you try out! I know these Too Faced palettes aren’t indie by any means, but you make them look gorgeous!

Where I collect the fall palettes (only the fall ones cuz I’m a complete fall/Halloween junkie 🎃 ) I will pick this up. I’ll use my Sheer ID medical professional discount and get 20% off. That works for me but I agree it’s not worth the full price when you could get a midi Natasha Denona for 10ish bucks more. Can I also say I SO APPRECIATE YOU ZOOMING IN FOR TUTORIALS!! You’d be surprised how many review channels do their eye looks from either an overhead angle that you can’t even see anything or from sitting super far back and again you can’t make out any details. You can tell you are a true teacher ❤. Your tutorials are some of the most informative in the beauty space both in terms of the products performance but also technique. Thanks for taking the time to do that! Xoxoxo

I decluttered all my holiday palettes from too faced. I hadn't even swatched PP Second slice. I'll be passing on this one too. The green almost got me UT I got the Nomad safari palette and Yucca from ND. I'm good. Green is .y weakness!

Love the green look! I’m done with two faced. Love the fun palettes and colors but,so hit or miss! Spent too much money and will not buy them ever again. I’ve written the company as a die hard fan with not even a response. It’s a shame as it was one of my favorite brands. Now I’m into Nomad thanks to you. They are very easy to work with and give back to great causes.

TF had great success with their palettes 8 years ago, unfortunately they still use the same formula and it's just not good enough at all. Urban Decay is another brand who are guilty of doing the same thing!!
Most other brands have experimented and created new and exciting formulas, which has kept them "in the race".
I'm bored to tears with TF and UD and I'm also a little cross with them - I mean, they're both iconic brands and ought to be up at the front with their eyeshadows. It seems that they have stagnated, relyjng on yesteryears success.
If it's already obvious, I won't be getting this or any TF/UD palettes again - or, until they reformulate. Shame really, the colour story is quite good 😞

I agree and love this comment!! Those were two of my fave, go-to brands back in the day. I loved both of them, UD and bit more, but they didn’t keep up. The indie brands totally ran them over with their amazing formulas at better price points. It’s hard to pay $54 for anything nowadays especially makeup that underperforms and leaves a lot to be desired.

I always enjoy the holiday release palette from Too Faced, so I was excited to see your review of it. It looks like a mix of the Sweet Peach, Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon Buns Palettes all rolled in to one. I am tempted to still get it but maybe when it goes on sale.

I was waiting your review because last time when I watched your too faced reviewing the eyeshadow palette I was very worried thinking about hitting pan with your first swatches so I didn’t want to touched it but this one I liked it hopefully I can find it on sale or at TJMax I am not going to paying full price unless I have points in ulta otherwise I’ll wait patiently for discounts but the tarte eyeshadow palette is beautiful I loved the last one and for beginners I think 🤔 that is a complement to the last one so I am going to wait for the sale and get it I really liked how you mixed colors I am afraid of using colors that doesn’t matching and I am very perfectionist that I don’t want to screwing up my eyeshadow palette ☺️👍🏻👋🏻🙋🏻♀️

I bought my first Too Faced pallet last year when it was 1/2 price, the Donut one with blush too. I tried to like it but it was not as good as my Colourpop or Alter Ego pallets. I ended up trashing after a year.

we started preparing for this hurricane on saturday and we’re getting ready for it to hit us tomorrow, and i’m starting to get nervous. i was watching what happened at the university of NC in chapel hill this afternoon and my heart was breaking to see this tragedy unfolding right before my eyes, and i’m praying for whomever was hurt today, but i’m soooo glad that he’s in custody now. we’re living in a very, very sick sad little world. btw, i think the palette worked out better than what i expected tbh, and although your looks were absolutely beautiful, i definitely plan on skipping this one as well. i just haven’t been feeling their palettes the last few years, and i’m still paying off the stack of vet bills. i also think i’ve been wayyyy too spoiled by indie’s formulas. 💚💚💚

I didn't feel the enthusiasm from you as much in this video. I hate to say it, but I think TF may be headed downhill. For a high-end brand that used to be so cheeky and exciting, I feel like now we hold our breath in anticipation to see if the quality is there. If they want to act high-end and charge high-end, they need to step it up. I do appreciate that this palette isn't just another warm neutral palette.

The only shade that has my attention is that green. I like the blue too. Where is the butter shade? I prefer the tin packaging for Too Faced. I’m definitely getting the Nomad palette! I missed Haunted Europe. I love the color story of the Ghost Town one and the packaging is so cool. I’m not missing it again. Lol.
Nomad palette is totally worth it. Skip this one and get that one!

I always appreciate all the work you do with your videos. But I have to say, I will no longer ever. buy a Two Faced palette. Even their best formulas are now so behind the times. It's so sad, but if they aren't willing to invest in some new formulas, they don't deserve to have the sales. BTW, Blend Bunny had a 24 hour sale - 25% off of everything, so I ordered both blush palettes (after re-watching your videos!) the Sugar & Grunge and All Done Up. I'm so excited to get those!!

Every time I have bought a two faced pallet, i have been disappointed. The shimmers have made my eyes look crusty and dry. The mattes are meh. The nude prism from Lunar Beauty is my favorite neutral pallet❤.

I like both looks, they came out very pretty. But Too Faced lost me years ago with their eyeshadow palettes. Not only are they expensive for the quality but I just feel like they grab some colors and say give it a food theme. I don’t mind spending some money on a palette but not a dry formula that will hard pan in a few months. I do love some of their other products though… like the cloud crush blushes they came out with earlier this year. Those are so good. Overall Too Faced just isn’t fun and innovative anymore. But I so appreciate your honest opinion and reviews. ❤
I totally understand! I feel like they stopped trying with their eyeshadow palettes. Now they have cardboard packaging and charging more, makes it even harder to stick around.
I find too faced do decent complexion products, I also liked their blushes and setting spray. I wonder why their eyeshadows suffer with quality... I remember when I was looking for my first eyeshadow palette, my friend told me to avoid too faced because the quality is poor, so I remember at that time I bought the ABH modern Renaissance instead, and used that to death back then when it was my only palette , panned a few shades when I was just getting into eyeshadow
Yes!! Totally agree with you on that! They do complexion well as they should bcs EL owns them and they usually have nice foundations and concealers.
the performance on the eye looks really nice. Too Faced doesn't develop formulas for swatching or finger use so I'm not surprised. That's really odd w the Italian Spritz 👀 it shouldn't just hard pan out of the blue... I use my TF palettes a lot and I never get hard pan. I don't ever use fingers though. Is it a new formula? Need to look at mine...
I never go by swatches for anything...not until the day I start wearing my palettes on my arm😂
I wish that was my experience, I’ve spent thousands of dollars on these palettes without using fingers and I’m so done. So glad yours have always worked! Wish they would have for me. They were really my favorite for a long time but imo they have missed the mark for me. Glad you had better luck.
Yeah we definitely need to rely on how they apply on the eyes rather than on the arm.
@@chow3231 so all your Too Faced palettes hard panned and you never use finger 👀🤔 that's bad. I mean loads of people still have their years old palettes and no hard pan. Like I have White Chocolate still 😅 and Chocolate Gold. No hard pan 🤷♀️

I have ordered from them without any issues. There is an email on their site you can use to contact them, they are pretty quick with responding during working hours.
Im getting Cosmic Brushes Muse & Serenity Palette vibes from this :-D But I think both the Muse and the Serenity Palette are so much prettier with much better color story and quality. Easy pass for me this one :-)

See and unfortunately with indies crushing it. I’m on the verge of getting rid of my huda beauty palettes. The shimmers just don’t compare.
Huda is hit or miss for me. I do think they have some really nice palettes but sometimes they can be like this TF one.

Too Faced just don't get me anymore - although I noticed their Christmas releases to come and there was a colour story there that has me mildly interested! Trouble is I know I'll be disappointed, I have so much better makeup!

I don’t remember that one but I’ll take your word for it. Nice color story with sub par quality. Definitely need a sale for this one.
@@SteffsBeautyStash it was a few ago…I think maybe 3 years 🤔 Warm tones like usual with a pop of purple shimmer and a pretty greenish gold shimmer. But yeah, they do nice color stories a lot of the times but the quality doesn’t usually live up. I think the last one I’ve ever heard anyone say was good was the first pumpkin spice. Since then I haven’t heard anyone really like the fall palettes

Too faced never catches my eye... The blushes were cute, but i just do not care for them. Beautiful looks Steff.. But indie just died it was better for this price point
Indie always gonna be better! TF has dropped the ball as far as eyeshadows go.
Too faced seems to have lost their mind.....color scheme sucks for the theme. Makes me worried for the holiday products.
I like the color story but I don’t think it goes with the theme.
This palette story doesn't draw me in. It is a bit meh! I haven't purchased a Too faced palette in a long while.

I'm sorry to say, I'm not overly impressed with this palette...Nothing original in the color story and the quality doesn't seem worth the hefty price tag. Your eye looks are pretty but the shimmers don't seem to be very "shimmery" and for that price, there are a multitude of indie palettes that are better. I'm taking a pass on this one.

Too face is not consistent at all. I stopped buying their palettes years ago. I love the TF mascara though.

I have a couple nomad palettes, haunted Europe, Hudson valley(my fav so far), the European jewels( the multi chrome one), the Provence one and two little California quads. Opps I also have the Santa’s village one too. Nomads formula just keeps improving and they are a indie brand I watch close and order from quite often. I super enjoyed ur review. ❤❤❤

I'm not tempted at all by this palette. It looks similar to the Pumpkin Spice from like 3 years ago, which I have already decluttered, the shimmers were so DRY! I have Huda Beauty palettes that are older and still perform great. Never, ever, EVER buy palettes full price!

I used to love TooFaced, but they've really fallen from grace as far as their palettes go. A mostly shimmer palette with no real cohesive color story? No, this is a huge pass for me.
I totally agree. Their complexion products seem to be the only things they have improved upon and that's not surprising since they are owned by EL.
