Hey, Idk if you’ll ever see this….. and You don’t know me from Adam, but I believe you may need to know you’re not alone. It will be 12 years this April 9th that the man I loved decided it to just leave in a moment. That one decision, changed my whole life forever. I’m sorry you too are walking through this pain. It’s like a movie you never audition to be a part of, those moments with the camera circles, the actor and the whole room goes dark and they are the only person in the room. That’s what the phone call felt like for me. You’ll never reach out and I don’t expect you to, but I just wanted you to know that your story is more relatable than it probably feels. I hope that you are well, I’m sorry you’re going through this too. After all we have been through in life it just seems like it will never end. Maybe some day the trauma of the lives, that we’ve lived through and years and mine are very similar. Only my father walked out. My mother was in and out of prison because she is an addict. I watched you on American Idol from your audition to when you were voted off, but I don’t think I ever really knew your full story. But I just happen to stumble across something tonight that brought me to tears because it was incredibly relatable down to all that you’ve lost, and the ways that you’ve lost them. It’s not a relief to know that somebody else is feeling that way or has felt that way or is going through or has gone through something like this. I hope you’re healing at your own pace and not at someone else’s. I can promise you though that this feeling, every time you think about them or anytime there’s something you wanna tell them it never goes away that pain that being brought to tears at a moments notice without even feeling sad it never ever goes away. It gets easier to hide, but time does not heal. Take care of yourself, I wish somebody would’ve reached out to Mindy McCready when she was going through it. What a soul to have lost.
