Funny how this exact same thing happened under O. Was working in a grocery store at that time and watched food prices along with gas and electric prices soar. Feds printed, value of the dollar shrunk causing inflation while federal spending went into high gear. All this hurts the low income the most. Same class D's claim they want to help......

Do me a favor go grab a gallon baggie fill one full of chips how you would like it to be filled then fill the other half full of air throw them at the wall several times to simulate handling from the warehouse, shipping,to the store and then to the consumer and then grab your favorite dip and see witch one your dipping your fingers into! And no I don't work for any chip company I'm a metal fabricator for the last 23 years but we did build an API separator for Frito-lay several years ago 🤷
As someone who makes corn chips, it’s literally a dirt cheap process. I don’t get their justification. So to make Mexican chips all you do is get corn tortillas, cut them in fours and deep fry. Places with entire automated factories dedicated to this process literally won’t see any difference in their cost to operate large enough to justify this bs

The product shrinks, But the prices either stay the same or increases. I spotted this already fast food to grocery stores. That’s not right.

When it cost more to run a business now that Biden amended Trumps cut to regulation, its greed on our government part. We had sky high gas and food prices under Obama too. Inflation is caused by the Federal Reserve printing money with nothing backing up it's value. Our paper money is a Federal note. Not a United States note.

Someone just explained why the housing market and car markets are out of control. All businesses got a free loan $500,000, $1 million, etc that they don’t have to pay back -remember? They were supposed to use the money for the business. Instead they used the money to buy houses and cars. That’s why the businesses closed and now everything is out of control. Meanwhile, you and I have to pay all that money back. There was nothing written in stone that said what they can and can’t do with the money.
Save whatever money you can cause and everyone else cause it's gonna get 💯 % worse than anyone can imagine.

I cant find Cat food.
I couldn't get a gallon of milk at Kroger... all sold out even dollar general was wiped clean so I had to pay 4.00 for 2 half gallons @2.00 a piece.. such a disgrace 😪

@@ChosenOne6666 Same. My cat ('Boots') used to _love_ Friskies 'shreds', but then I couldn't find it (went to 4 different stores, looking for it) for like 2 weeks. At one point, the cat-food shelves were _so_ empty, the only cat-food I could find _anywhere,_ was "Sheba", which is expensive (it's like 90 cents.) He turned his nose up at it and I ended up having to cook a chicken breast, cut it up in tiny micro-pieces and give to him. Then, when the stores _finally_ got cat-food in, it took like a week for him to decide to eat canned cat-food again. (He always has Purina 'Indoor' dry cat-food whenever he wants.) I tried explaining to him about the shortage of canned cat-food, but he just didn't care & gave me the silent treatment, lol.
You got that right. What we were getting about a year ago is not what we’re getting today. The course has written on many things including food for humans food for dogs few foot lifestock two. The food we’re getting very less of a more money out of our pockets

Inflation is terrible but shrinking portions isn’t a bad idea. Obesity is a major issue partly due to how big are portions are compared to our European counterparts

The prices will come down when people stop eating so much stuff they don't need to eat . Then when products stay on the shelf and companies lose money then they will lower the price to sell product. Same goes with gasoline.
If you apply that to housing and car* prices it sounds pretty silly. Everything is going up. Not just gas and food. Electricity, water, rent and mortgages. This is out of hand.

I work near that vons . I went in there this morning like 9 .15 am to get chicken tenders from the deli for my lunch and there was a sign that said they are out of chicken due to a chicken shortage. I was like " you better stop playing and give me my tenders."

Haha, I remember cracker boxes & ice cream containers getting smaller. I wonder how much smaller they might get. It's not good for the environment because as something gets smaller the proportion of volume to surface area gets smaller. You ship less product faster than you ship less packaging.

its true sizes have been going down but presently the sizes are going down EXPONENTIALLY.....eg....just go to your local dollar store, which isn't a dollar store anymore, and look at what used to be their cookie section.....packages are about half of what they were a year ago.
