I was baptized in the Holy Spirit In the early hrs of the morning of Sunday after 2 Am in the living room. What a great feeling it was & I couldn’t wait to go to church & wait on that part of praise & worship. Oooh, I was stopped as I just wanted to continue in the spirit. Honestly, you're describing my situation. I was so thirsty to pray in the Spirit that I received this gift while watching a local pastor Bishop Mosa Sono here in SA. He was having a whole night prayer that was streaming on the social platforms( I watched it on UA-cam) and he said he will start the service by praying for everyone to receive the Holy Spirit and to speak in tongues! I knew the night before that I will start speaking in tongues, I told myself that I am receiving this gift that night (and just like that, when Bishop said open your mouth, say something, There and there I started praying in tongues. A prayer that most likely lasted an hour without stopping) PRAISE GOD FOR THAT.

I was baptized in the Holy Spirit in my own house. I asked God for this gift and He heard my prayers. I was never taught about the baptism of the Holy Spirit in my church. I've learnt about Him from the TV preachers. And it became a huge problem at church, I was suspected to be a satanist as this was not acceptable. I was the only church member who could pray in the spirit except for the pastor and his wife.

Praying in the spirit is powerful indeed! Two days ago, I came back home from work and the moment I parked in the garage I suddenly burst into praying in tongues for about 2 minutes. That night someone tried to break into our house and my husband was still up and heard a noise in the kitchen and went there. He found a guy trying to open our kitchen window and he just ran off. When he told me about the incident I was immediately reminded of the prayer in tongues in the garage and I knew that prayer in the spirit had addressed that attempted burglary, glory to God!
I was born again Christian john 3:5 and with the proof of holy spirit 1 Corinthians 14:2 and acts 2:38 and believe in praying in the spirit.. God bless you..

My testimony after the 7 days fast Ms Muimbi, I have been praying to get some money to be able to afford my bills, this prayer has been going on for a very long time and at times I get a raise in cents but this time sis I jump and danced for the Lord. I was blessed with what I was praying for. God is good all the time. I might not be consistent with reading the Bible but God has mercy for me.
