The most personally profound comment that I have heard in my 60 yrs: "The currency of living is how you spend your moments". As an IT professional with an Accounting education...think that I might tend to take thing, life, too seriously. Richard you are so! I have just started getting involved or should say that I'm starting to focus my learning revolved around NLP and it is Amazing. I'm writing this comment while the video is playing and the comment was made about the Einstein and the Universe connect the dots. I just want to learn more and how to internalize it, laughing all the way!!

Yes, as soon as he said that my ears tuned in and a light bulb switched on over my head! 😂 I wrote that quote down immediately. So simple, so true. Also "freedom is everything, love is all the rest" love it.

Great fun this interview was to listen to. I especially liked the "rapid fire" questions at the end. I love learning random, and not-so-random things about people and how they think, and experience life. L👀KING forward to part 2.

I'm really curious how nlp and hypnotherapy can affect people with degenerative brain maladies. Dementia and Alzheimer's are the most famous but there are others

    Some doubts
Richard Bandler says that humor can help us see things from a different perspective. Can you think of an example from your own life where humor helped you learn something new or see a situation in a different way?
The speaker mentions that humor can be used to challenge assumptions. Can you think of an assumption you or someone you know holds that could be challenged through humor? How might you use humor to do this in a constructive way?
The video suggests that humor can help us shield ourselves from negativity. Do you think humor can always be helpful in negative situations? Why or why not? Can you think of a situation where humor might not be appropriate?

According to the video, Richard Bandler, a co-developer of neuro-linguistic programming, believes that humor is a necessity in life and if you can't laugh at yourself, you will never learn smarter things.
The speaker, Paul Baross, introduces Richard Bandler as a master of humor.
Richard Bandler also believes that people talk themselves out of being humorous. He says that his job is to help people see that what they are doing is funny enough to laugh at. When people start laughing at themselves, they start learning and changing their behaviors.
