I have my reminder set!
Notification Gang!🔥🔥🔥
Watched u when I was goin to school now I’m out here making money, love your hustle!
Nice job with the Horse Trailer door.
A little advice, I would have suggested you use Marine Grade Plywood. It's treated and will not absorb water. Also a few drain holes to get the water out so it doesn't sit and Rot.
Going the Extra mile - Under coat the back side of the door before the wood went on.
PROPS to you, it looked really good.
As for the Hinges on the Utility Trailer those wont last long. You already know that.
REMEMBER YOUR THE PROFESSIONAL. You need to sell the Customer on the RIGHT way to do things.
Your going to be OK.
I did a similar repair on a trailer last year , I used weld on barrel hinges as they are less likely to fail. I know those flat hinges were all you had but they will break on a trailer but not your welds.
I always enjoy watching your videos. It's great to see you venture out on your own. I too own a small mobile welding repair business. Your drive and passion for what you do along with quality work will get you as much work as you want. Most customers don't look at the rate you are charging when the results are above and beyond their expectations. You and I can thank the other people who do this kind of work, that don't return calls, don't show up, and charge and arm and a leg when they do for what usually turns out to be sub-par work. Stay true to your yourself and don't ever worry about telling someone "no" for a project. If it doesn't feel right, it usually isn't. All the best to you and your company.
worked at a shop that specialized in building custom trailers, as well as repairing damaged trailers, owner did fab, I did 100% of all the welding, plus was mechanic repairing cars, made great money, but owners health declined, & he closed shop in 2012.
I have done mobile repairs, but stopped after me & a customer had words. around 2010, but still have all my equipment. just not doing much, as not advertising, presently
That's where I made a lot of money way back when doing repair work cause a lot of hands don't want to mess with it I used to be like good give it to me glad to see you got a little work
"Happy horse, happy dad....orrrrr whatever" 😂😂😂 good shit man
I am a welding & fabrication shop owner. MCW Certified Welding Ltd in Delta, Ohio. We have been blessed with a steady amount of trailer fabrication and repair. This has nearly became bread and butter work due to our shop rate being $80 per hour Time & Material. Everyone gets a great service and we make the money we need to operate and grow.
Where at ?
Can you do more videos on this kind of work? What rods or material you use and how you quote these types of jobs?
yesssir ill do one in the future on how much i charge ect
@@TheWeldLab Thanks man, that'll be super helpful for me. Just starting up my own business and I'm thinking of doing some mobile/shop welding depending on the job
Man I’ve enjoyed your videos for a while now and cuz of you I got into welding and going to school for it want a better life for my family. And moving to Texas in the near future for the welding jobs and better living Cali is to expensive thanks for the inspiration and confidence I’m almost 30 and well better late then never for me keep them videos coming.
I'm back! Great to see you again Rico 😁. Things looking good buddy 👍. Keep up the good work
Keep those new projects coming. You the man.
I’m not a welder or plan on wedding. Just enjoy watching these videos 😂
it be like that with youtube frfr, i just watched a 45 min video of someone disassembling a semi engine to be rebuilt for no reason at all.
It would be a good idea to prime the metal and paint it and also doing the same to the wood but the rubber was a good idea 👍🏼
💯
@@TheWeldLab Yes sir, you learn as you go, more money for you for the little details and taking care of your customers
Yo I fw ur content bro

Keep up the excellent work! 💯
dirty hands are clean money
Mob ties over there had me 💀
Respect bro✊🏽
💯
Always disconnect the negative terminal before you do welding on a vehicle bro, you can fuck up a lot of shit with the electrical system. Just a heads up but keep up the hustle bro💪🏽 💯
yessir thats a must
Migs is different
@@yomommasgardener9648 nah lol, always disconnect it
@@gustavogutierrez6657 i did all my exhaust and nothing happened
It depends on the vehicle. It’s possible to do damage to something even with a mig.
Painted the trailer light 😂
Hey rigo will a yeswelder be too powerful for the house outlet
How much on average does this pay?
What do you guys price your jobs at? N also 1 hour minimum 2 hour minimum?
Any hard hat stickers ?
How do you go about biding your quotes how do you know what to charge
Un comentario y suggestion pasitiva para ti!! Viera sido mas proffesional y visto mejor el jale con tuvo de 1" or whatever y Puesto unos pins so the gate could come out easy whenever the lawn ppl need to take the gate out.. las bisagras no creo k awanten mucho. 1" or whatever works best tubo de stainless welded 3 oh 2 en cada eskina y en medio..same to the trailer luego cuando Pongas la gate le metes los pins y estuvo
How do you give your prices
wuestion did you unplug the battery first?
yessir
that's not a Dodge... that's a Ram...

👍👍
9 more hours to go.
🤟🏼
How much did u quote for the job? I have my friend a friend price on his trailer ( welded a lock pin on both sides ) had to grind the old pins off and took two and a half hours and charged him $50 but was just wondering what would a customer price be?
100$ A hour minimum
Yea in life bro no matter who your doing business with if your products or labor charge is $100 no matter who it is you should charge $100 nothin less if they ya real ones they should see you win .! I understand them being your bros but you know there’s a difference between bros and business .!
@@nelson442 yea I understand that completely, however I make $20 an hour in the shop so I charged him $20 an hour to do a simple stick weld with my shitty little $90 welder lol
QuickShot i mean yea , youd be over charging $100 for a 4 12 inch beeds but yea like rico says on his video charge what your work is worth or what you’re worth .. i have a cheap 100 mig form chicago electric yet to use i havent started my welding carrer yet im working w my step dad in cdl as his helper to save and fund my truck and weldin Machine .!!🙌🏻🙏🏻
