They are releasing a set that contains both the first 100 episodes set and the next 100 episodes set. It contains both of the individual set releases housed in a cardboard box. It is called SpongeBob SquarePants The Best 200 Episodes Ever.
Personally, I would NOT get this box set because the DVD menus are copys from the complete seasons. But if you do get the box set, that's fine. I already own 6-9, so I wouldn't get it. Side note: I did get the first 100 because of the value. Also, that means that I could say goodbye to the season 1-5 DVDs. I'm about keeping them, though.
I wish it was packaged better like how they done the first release of the first 100 episodes, but I might get it just for the disc because of the art work.

I'm thinking about getting the first 100 episode set for the first three seasons and the exclusive extras that you don't get on the individual season sets although the latter i will pick up as well given they have their own specific extras not included on the former collection, though i don't really have too much interest in the post movie seasons so given that fact i'm likely not going to be getting this. It mostly stems from the first three being the height of the show IMO as the ones i enjoyed the the most as a young kid and it's lost that steadily after the first movie especially the last few years. Now that said, even then there have been some occasional ones in those seasons including specials (Atlantis SquarePantis, Pest of the West.etc) that i've watched and liked to some degree but really the OG period is where it's at for me personally. I guess you could say given that i'm pretty much in the same boat as J on that point.
I have a question, in the first 100 episodes in season five it says on google that there are 20 episodes in season 5 but I was looking at a image and I counted to about 40 so if there is 100 episodes how do they squeeze in 40 episodes?
I don’t mind if a DVD or Blu-ray has a slipcover. I did have slipcovers for some of my DVDs or Blu-rays but I shredded them because I like peeling the stickers off the slipcover and some of them can’t peel all the way off or they feel sticky.

The 100th episode was "Goodbye, Krabby Patty?", which is also the 200th episode of the series.
On this DVD set, it's the 100th episode, but it's the 200th episode in production order.
I would’ve put the Flying Dutchman, Patchy and Potty on the last three Discs, but that’s just me.
