The song you need to listen to is Love Loop by GOT7 where Jaebeom hits an E5 note. Also, just FYI, Jaebeom entered the company as a dancer, not for singing 😊 and now look at him. So so proud.

But actually both of them are all rounder. Even some people said both of them were exclusive trainee, even trained some month in NY ..
agreed!! he entered for being a bboy, trained to be a rapper, and now has one of the best vocals! even the senior renowned singer on king of the masked singer after jaebeom’s performance said that his tone was one of the best he’s heard and a hard one to come by because it’s something special he’s born with. Jaebeom is so cool >

I would suggest you listen to some of the songs that jb composed like his solos sunrise and rainy and got7's teenager, pray, page, you calling my name, eclipse and crazy. Also got7 has a subunit jus2 with jb and another member yugyeom and their single focus on me has major rnb vibes. Another subunit with jb and member jinyoung called jjproject whose single tomorrow, today also shows off a different side vocally of the 2 members. With got7 I think when you listen to the album as a whole you see a lot of versatility and real capabilities of the members and since the title track is just a part of the album it sometimes fails to show what the members have actually got
This compilation shows songs from 4 years ago or more and is constantly showing clips of the same songs just different performances (even the same parts of the songs) so it doesn't really show off the true extent of what he can do and how the songs progress. There is definitely more range and diversity in both his vocals and got7 songs this just wasn't the best compilation because it was old and repetitive (I'm not sure if there is a newer compilation). If you listen to more got7 songs, in general, you'd definitely see more diversity in both his vocals and the group in general (they all have unique and different voices that blend really well together).

Agreed with some of the comments here, this video is an old version so it's been a long time lol They are doing more R&B stuffs after 2017, so you can try JUS2's album FOCUS (his unit with Yugyeom), a R&B/House focused album, JB's solo song "Sunrise", his Soundcloud (Def. / Defsoul), these would be more recent and better things to react to :)
There's a complication by Redka Def called GOT7 JB - THE MOST UNIQUE Voice and THE BEST LIFE Vocals in KPOP. It's a new video, like a week old. It has an even better range of what JB's capable of.
JB is also a solo artist under the name Defsoul on SoundCloud where he writes and produces a bunch of his own song. They really suit his voice and style and you’d probably like them

The Def. Stuff on UA-cam will only be the lyric videos but...hes amazing and I agree he is so underrated and capable of amazing stuff. My favorite by far

I think you should do some reactions to newer songs Eclipse, You Calling My Name, and the rest of their new album Dye. I would love to see you react to each of the members you've seen Jackson's solo work and this is an older version of some of JB's best vocals. The other members are Youngjae, Jinyoung, Yugyeom, Bambam, ang Mark. JB is one of the members that writes songs for the group. He's the leader of Got7.

JB had a soundcloud under the name def. and I haven’t listened to all the songs but you can see the range he sings in. In the song ‘Curiosi’ he users a deeper voice throughout and in ‘be with you’ he hits a few high notes (sunrise also). Another I really enjoyed was ‘come back to me’

I just saw this & thought the SAME THING AS jamyria Roberertson!!! I wondering if you REALIZE what hides behind JB/Def , it’s Joungjae I call “The Voice”. He was on Masked singer also. He was told that he is being hidden behind (6) other voices in GOT7. There is room for them all.
