    I love your videos. I’ve been stuck moving ahead in my jumping by the fear of a kite loop. Though I can jump 8 to 10 m. I’m always afraid to throw a loop. This video is perfect for me to learn to kite loop. Many thanks. 0:24

      Glad to hear you're enjoying the video. I can totally imagine it's scary to get it started in the beginning, I was as well. I think you placed the reply under the wrong video though, as this is the riding blind video 😉 Guess that started on auto play 😂

    Hi Steven! I love your series about tricks/tutorials within the SA Masterclass. Great footage all around! - Thank you for all your efforts you put into these vids and sharing them with us, I really appreciate this.
    I am curious about your trip for the next months you mentioned in the beginning! Hope we get to see some footage from you kiting places - would love to watch this!
    For my situation (beginner), I got a Nexus 2 recently (

      This is awesome to read man! I'm really happy that you find the videos so useful, hope you get loads of time to try out the different tricks.
      The plan is to make loads of content from the trip we're about to do, bit more lifestyle as well. You'll see it popping up on my channel 😉

    Hi Steven, thanks for your content!
    I have a question for you - thinking about new set for me and my gf. 6-8-10 XR's for heavy days and 11-13,5 either GTS or Nexus for light unhook days. We both are beginners in unhook like only Raley's, Sband's. We want to progress next year and I wonder which ones would be better - GTS or Nexus for that purpose. (50kgs and 68kgs)

      Hey Marcius
      Sorry for the late reply, If you're mainly planning to ride twintip I think the GTS is awesome! If you're planning to add some strapless riding or foiling I would recommend the Nexus, It's just slightly more mellow and versatile.
      One way or another, you can't really go wrong with either 😉
      Hope that helps

    Nice one! Doe je nog een keer feedback of filmpjes? Ik kan nog wel wat tips gebruiken over de frontroll (en heb een mooie fail-compilatie). Goeie reis

    Hi! A seat harness make blind riding more difficult?? And using a sliding hook...??
    Cheers.

    • @stevenakkersdijk
      @stevenakkersdijk  2 роки тому

      As a seat harness doesn't slide it will probably make riding blind a bit harder. Sliding rope or harness should do the job quite nicely.

    Would u recommend learning to pop straight to blind? Or learning to slide to blind first?

    • @stevenakkersdijk
      @stevenakkersdijk  2 роки тому +1

      Sliding to blind is quite hard if i remember correctly 🙈 I would recommend going straight for a pop to blind and just slide out of it.

    • @joakimho4048
      @joakimho4048 2 роки тому

      @@stevenakkersdijk ...so with sliding out do u mean continue the rotational direction? Or do u mean to slide out in the counter direction that u 'popped' in?

    • @stevenakkersdijk
      @stevenakkersdijk  2 роки тому

      @@joakimho4048 I mean slide out in the counter direction that you popped in to it. So basically to get back in the normal (heelside) riding position.

    Landing in blind for me ia quite easy, but riding blind being hooked for long ,aint that easy

    • @stevenakkersdijk
      @stevenakkersdijk  3 роки тому

      Yup that's something which needs a lot of practise. Also surprised me again

    • @KiteboardingInUruguay

      I agree with this! I struggle to travel more than 5-8m in blind before I loose speed and either need to pop back to regular or just end up slowly sinking.....😂

      I know that feeling 😂😂
