Thats a great technique...And even if the D to D pass happens, that F1 forward can swing left and keep up the pressure on the weak side defenseman...forces them to move the puck quicker...
Do you encourage stick on puck during the forecheck or do you mostly just want to contain the play to the strong side and use the stick and body for angling?

How To Hockey I usually go to the outside wit one hand on my stick putting my other arm out to protect my stick and blasting forward
