The Mandalorian Theme sounds like it was based on old Westerns, because the TV series is itself a Space Western with Din Djarin as the lone cowboy/gunslinger/bounty hunter. On the other hand, it seems like The Book of Boba Fett Theme has the dramatic chanting and drum beats to evoke a tribal style, tying into his time spent with the Tuskens
There's also definitely some Maori/Polynesian influence in the music to reflect Temuera's background as well, really neat stuff!
Not to forget that boba actor is Māori and it has aspects of his culture
@@jakegarcia1796 i noticed that it’s a cool touch

Loving the tribal vibes.
I didn't think a theme could rival The Mandalorian's but I was very wrong.
I honestly prefer this version over Ludwig's... the vocals honestly sound kinda goofy to me compared to the brass Sam used here.
No cap 😭
Ludwig was born to make star wars music! So blessed to have John Williams and now his take on these series!
The mandalorian ost is more like a lone mando searching a new way
While this one is a mandalorian following the old ways of the mandalorians
Yup!
At first I preferred the Mandalorian theme, but after hearing this multiple times and especially after seeing this AWESOME remix, Book of Boba theme is great in its own tribal sounding way
Same. I like the one with the people singing better than this version tho

I like the Series so far, but every supposed crime lord who has to state that he is one, is in fact not a crime lord.
Boba Fett's theme went from an Imperial March extension to a western and then a full on tribal theme. Amazingly fitting for the character.
Fitting for an Heir to a Mandalorian legend
All 3 are amazing but kinda wish they used the western and first one way more often
@@phillipe4742 They have used the western one a few times in the series so far. Hope the original one shows up once, even if it is Imperial themed.

Despite the means I'd trust Boba to be more Mandalorian than anything Bo-Katan could ever create.
That woman lost Mandalore twice to the Empire and led ruin upon Mandalorians. She is unfit to rule.
@@bobafett9348 She's also ex Death Watch. Dishonorable extremists that were pretenders to true Mandalorian culture. Their short sighted violence destabilized Mandalore and gave the Republic and later Empire justification to invade and occupy them. She definitely isn't and never will be fit to rule, she's selfish.
@@bobafett9348 anyone else would have lost. The Empire had control over everything. Would you prefer a cowering puppet?
@@CoolMyron Yes. Thats a better alternative to idealistic idiot that led to genocide of Mandalorians. Given a Mandalroain leader had actual sense to not anger the Empire, and would only take an opportunity to strike as Empire started falling apart, Mandalore could once again become regional superpower.
@@bobafett9348 Seeing how that goes against everything Mandolorians stand for, good luck staying in power. Imagine uniting all the clans just to sit on your a** XD
Plus we don't even know why they attacked the Mandos the 2nd time. Could have literally been just for the saber. For all we know Palps could have seen them as a threat just because there Mando's.
The moment I first heard this theme in the show, my first thought was, "Samuel Kim is going to make this amazing." Glad you're feeling better, this is awesome. 👏👏👏

the episode was great 10/10!!!!! please make a 1 hour remix of this with other boba fett and mandalorian music!!!! ur great!!!!!!
THAT WAS BETTER THAN THE MANDALORIAN
I like that the tuskin raiders are seemingly inspired by the plains Indians and the Appalachian tribes here in the US. They believe everything in nature is a gift for them to use, are very territorial and hold close to their traditions, and have a tribal hierarchy. It's kinda awesome
African Tribes? Aboriginals from Australia? Middle Eastern? Afghans?
Not everythings about Americans, Nobody cares
@@tehhotline4225 Yeah except Star Wars is based on old westerns. It was intended by George Lucas, who happens to be American. So relax cause he’s not wrong
@@shawnjones7295 Definitely more Afghan/Middle Eastern influenced when it comes to Tuskens, Down to the rifles and Banthas.
Park the self righteous attitude, Reeks of American talk show host
@@tehhotline4225 The Plains Indians in America had a similar culture around guns when they first got them, and many native tribes had traditional weapons that they held as sacred. So again I'm not wrong here. If you see it as middle eastern then good for you, I'm just relating it to what I know more about. Calm down lol
Lol all of you guys arguing over what nationality the Tuskans are when they take a lot of inspiration from a lot of different cultures, and especially Maori in this new show, the gaffi sticks are used like Taiaha, a traditional Maori weapon, and the end of episode two, that was definitely inspired by a haka, a Polynesian war dance. Also the taking back of ancestral land is pretty much from every culture that the colonials took land from, but since I'm from nz and see all of the other Maori influences in the show it especially makes me think of the treaty of Waitangi and the land that was basically stolen from the Maori people's. Also Temuera Morrison (actor who plays boba) is Maori, and specifically asked to use parts of Maori culture in the show.
Not JUST a simple man making his way through the galaxy..
THE simple man making his way through the galaxy, like his father before him.
And staying true to Mandalorian way's. Boba had the chanze to beat/kill that kid TWICE. He didnt. IF Mandalore is known for something then this : They would NEVER attack or even so much as to hurt a child. And ofc. they jump right into battle when one is threatened too (Maybe THATS why Mandalore hates the Jedi? They basicaly FORCE and KIDNAP children to do what they want and be indoctrinated, wheras Mandalorian Rule is to return the child to their own, if thats imposible or fails only THEN will they take that child themself)

Let’s gooooo you’re amazing king
You rule us with respect
Real men listen to this while doing workout.
Some people are upset about how boba is portrayed in this series but I think people need to realize he isn't who he was pre sarlac. After his experience with the sarlac and sand people he realized the importants of respect and realized that in the end money isnt important. He isnt that slick looking bounty hunter we all knew now hes a man of respect and equality and intends do bring that to Tatooine. The Tuscans really changed him and this theme with its tribal feel really shows that. He is still one of my favorite characters.
This is a far more interesting and complex Boba Fett than some mindless contract killer the drooling nerds got their panties in a twist over not getting to see. 🙄
Dude, I’ve been so excited to see your work with this theme. BADASS. I don’t think you could disappoint me even if you tried.
This man definitely has the knowledge and experience to disappoint you if he actually tried. 😆

"You can only get so far without a tribe." --Boba Fett
I live by that sentence now, what a good show!
After Episode 2 of that series, I get that theme, which is so different of the "boba fett theme" we know and elements can be found in the book of boba fett theme.
Jesus is that theme powerful.
After I watched the 2nd episode I just had to turn up the volume and play Samuel Kims version of it ..... WOW

"I am just a simple man, trying to enjoy good music in the universe." ~Jongo Phett

Man his music is so freaking awesome
When I heard this Soundtrack in the Show for the first time I was a bit confused. It was so different. But after the second episode I got used to it and now I love it. Ludwig Göransson is truly a legend
If anyone is interested, this theme was heavily inspired by "Borka Sången" from "Ronja Rövardotter", an old 80's swedish movie.
Really??? Can you prove it? It would be amazing.

This Is perfect timing I finished the second episode and this comes out
"Like a bantha, its not?"
In Ep 3 there is a choir during the dream sequence (when Boba comes back to the camp) who sings "Aliit ori'shya tal'din" repeatedly. This is Mando'a for "Family is more than blood". It would be great to have this included in one of your next mixes.

This is my favorite that you've done so far for Boba. I LOVE how you mixed in his original theme. The transitions in and out of Boba's original theme are flawless! Sounds like it's all supposed to be there and working together.
I also gotta add that the Tribal vibe to this song makes me think of the Tuskens and other life on Tatooine but mostly this theme is just as much Tusken as it is Boba. They're forever linked now and I dig it.
