    If they can build great attractive houses then they should also focus on making street roads and healthcare hospitals and schools so they can expand their bussines it’s also important to have street lights

    I think we are still finding our feet with this industry and finding styles which are both practical and fit the climate and landscape.
    and as someone who regularly keeps an eye out for the new builds and offerings i see huge improvements, houses are less busy in their designs, a focus on landscaping is now more intentional, windows are getting bigger and the finishes have improved immensely.
    Moving forward I hope that highly skilled trades will see a surgence and that there is more talent in this area , such as welders, electricians, plumbers, craftsmen, woodworkers and landscapers also that there is a distinction when it comes to architects/interior designers and actual builders as often it seems one group of people do it all.This is more to do with the provision of training,accreditation and quality control.
    I also hope that the furnishings will start to be a bit more fitting into the spaces, less cheap and chinese (with all due respect) and that the flow of the floorplan and outdoor area is both practical and complimentary to the overall design and area.E.g on alot of properties the doors and windows just seem to not fit or are not the best size.
    Love what this company is doing, they clearly are being quite ambitious and creative.They are one of my favs at the moment.There is definitely room for all these companies, as they can all bring something different.

    • @robinhood8889
      @robinhood8889 2 роки тому

      Builders can make ICFs four to 12 inches thick, depending on your design preferences.
      These foam forms are advantageous to builders because they’re lightweight, easy to erect, don’t require additional insulation, and can attach directly to interior drywall and exterior siding. I have no idea if ICFs are installed in these houses tho, but the main selling point of the concrete house is how easy it is to install insulation.

    I’m just not gonna construct a home in Somalia (SL) because no matter how modern it looks it is still missing the essential. Secondly, your home is one dispute and a civil war away from being gutted and looted.
    I’d rather build a home in Zanzibar like my friend did for $0 (the German company didn’t finish the home on time as stated in their contract and so they gave their money back to them ). The home is next to the sea. They intend to rent it to tourist.

      What essentials r the houses back home missing? Somaliland and other somali states is very safe place with rule and law, no one is going to steal ur property. Ur more at risk building in Zanzibar compared to building where u reside no matter how much u invest in there country u will forever be a guest.

      Not sure where you got your sources of instability. Don't confuse somalia to Somaliland. I was just in Hargeisa & its quite peaceful and stable. There is a lot of new business and economic growth for a defacto nation that is trying to become independent. We've achieved a lot compared to somalia.

      @@lunad8063 I hail from SL. You just assumed I wasn’t. Read again what I wrote. I said it is one political dispute away from a civil war. Evidently SL suffers from clan democracy. Each political party is along clan lines. That is recipe for disaster.

      @@grigorig1055 You mentioned Somalia and wrote SL in parenthesis, so the assumption was warranted. There are always clans issues however the illusion of instability was created by political parties that know there time is up and to stop the formation of new parties. The biggest issue plaguing Somaliland is infrastructure and lack of access to international funds due to not being recognized yet by the IC.
