Dear supporters of Flame,
I want nothing more for you than to know the grace of God, won by Jesus the Messiah during His earthly ministry-delivered by God’s Holy Spirit through the means of His Word and His Sacraments (Baptism and the Lord’s Supper), and received by faith alone, a gift from God Himself.
May this sweet revelation inform all of life for you-the good, the bad, and everything in between. May you find hope, joy, and rest in the forgiveness of sins, regularly applied through God’s means.
I pray that God grants you curiosity, theological stamina, and biblical endurance to reexamine our historic Faith. May you be grateful for all that God has done thus far through our various expressions of Christianity, yet humble enough to consider the inestimable treasure left behind due to our starting point on the Church history timeline.
