When visiting Melaka, do pay a visit to the oldest functioning church In malaysia: St Peter church Melaka, not to be confused with St Paul church on the hill or the red colour christ church.
@olderbackpacker this church is a bit further from town, and if you want, ayer salak is one of the few catholic towns in Malaysia, with a nice church from 1800s there. I suggest you visit kuching only next year by June, cause a brand new church is opening there and it's spectacular, named St peter church padungan
Question, and a serious one, are you traveling to 1) see monitor lizards and enjoy it immensely? Or, 2) show us monitor lizards? I hope, sincerely, it's for yourself. @olderbackpacker my point was: do what you want; not what you think we might think we want. Never sweat the missed photo - as long as you saw it and have an image in your mind. Be in the moment.
