(oop just now have I noticed this comment) I’ve sold the whole old reed blocks a while later. I’m not one who dives in knowing how to do much workings with reeds themselves since I don’t have the equipment for that sorta thing, i’ve bought the new reeds that are shown in this video.
I looked up on ebay for ‘accordion reed blocks’ made for melodeons which are created with modern materials. There’s a handful of listings for them and was lucky to find a full set for a two row melodeon.
This was super entertaining to watch ^^ I love seeing the repair of old instruments.

My one has metal and it caught a little rust. It's old. I was thinking if and how to remove those parts since it must be from both sides.
