Our local politicians are mostly awful, corrupt crooks. Years after hurricane María many warehouses of unused supplies were found. That wasn't the US's fault, that was our local leaders failing. So why hasn't Biden-Harris done anything to help the continued recovery? Because no US administration has done much in the past either, other than hurricane Georges in 1998 where I remember more FEMA aid visibly around than before, but that recovery took a long time too. We're always forgotten about, left to ourselves until it's politically convenient for a US administration to use us for political points only to disappear quickly after getting their publicity moment.
