Theory Sabers Unboxing/Review of 4 Sabers (Ghost Flame, Brick, 2x Alien)

Sorry for the background noise and the sniffing. I only had 20 minutes to unbox and review them so I did this Frank Sinatra style… one take and done. There’s a lot of pollen in the air so you’re getting the authentic me.
So I’m a first time Theory Sabers buyer. I’ve had a lot of very cheap Walmart style sabers over the years. This is the first set of real sabers I’ve bought and I decided to go all in and buy 4.
My initial impressions are that they’re very well built. They feel good in the hand, they look good and the price is very affordable. I feel like you get a lot for your money. The cheaper sabers I’ve bought ranged from $10 outside a concert, to $80 at Disneyland.
What I like about the price is that I’m not having to stretch my budget to buy one good saber. At these prices I can buy multiple great quality sabers and not worry about them breaking. We can just have fun AND I’m actually looking forward to buying more. At this price point I can have fun and be a collector.
The two Alien sabers were $99 each and feel a thousand times better than anything I’ve bought before and I can tell they can take a beating.
The Ghost Flame as configured with the SNV4 board and the 36” blade was $209.66. I’ve never had a saber over $100 before so I have nothing to compare it to but it feels like a very solid product.
The Brick was $209.99. I bought this one for my 3 year old since it looked smaller than all the others, but it’s actually very thick and heavy. If she loses grip on this thing and it goes flying, someone’s getting hurt for sure. I may get her the Alien saber as it’s much lighter and would be easier for her to hold in her little hands.
I would love to see an option for kids as young as 2. My littlest has the most fun so I spent the most on hers to get her something that wasn’t awkward for her to hold. I’ll make the Brick work but the end cap is so wide I can see her having trouble holding it.
I’m getting a second Ghost Flame. I ordered it by accident and it was too late to cancel it. This might turn out to be a blessing in disguise because I was very on the fence between getting the saber with SNV4 or with Proffe. I went with SNV4 because I’ve only ever had the simple RGB sabers and the SNV4 seemed like a good middle ground.
All the reviews said the Proffe was harder to configure but more customizable. For me I’ve never had a customizable saber so the SNV4 is like upgrading from driving a bicycle to a bus. But it looks like I’ll be able to exchange the second Ghost Flame with a Proffe so I’ll have both to compare.
Besides the Brick not being what I thought, I’m really happy with what we got. Very nice sabers at a very affordable price. Can’t wait to switch mine on and remind the kids that “I am your father!”

The “brick” saber is supposed to be the lightsaber from the Lego Star wars sets and games.

So were you able to find out if you can switch out the boards? I got an Alien saber in RGB… but I was curious to see if a Proffie board could be put into it later on.
