Holland Offroad Het Marsdiep

The Marsdiep is a narrow strait between the island of Texel and the mainland of North Holland with the major city of Den Helder. At the edge of this city lies the major naval port of the Netherlands. Through the Marsdiep, Dutch naval vessels set sail for their missions anywhere in the world. This Holland Offroad video introduces you to that Marsdiep and its history. Starting at the ferry port we explore the area all the way to Fort Kijkduin on the North Sea coast. Always with the island of Texel on the horizon and a sandbar called Razende Bol.
