How much do the divers get paid for each episode. Fred was away draining a big pod at the beginning of the season but I don't remember seeing any update on what happened, did he find gold.
Not only that, but it looks like they've started rigging that rock to come down already and as soon as it falls they suddenly have terrible horror-movie level camera skills so you don't see anything till its over. No way to tell if they were even close to that. The guy puts up his hands to show them shaking and they're basically dead still.. Very cliche reactions to a near death experience
@@stevescoolcollectibles5182 Thats just not true, we can see cameramen and the shot is constantly changing throughout the video we are currently watching.. Sure they would rig up some cameras that dont move, but why would they be at such a shit angle and not an overview of the entire site or what they're working on? honestly just imagine a camera rigged to stare at a rock they aren't currently working on, whats the point?
I’ve seen them get more scared of a single rock falling off the hill. This was definitely planned and controlled, but I give them kudos for their acting.
WoW, that was too close for comfort if you ask me hahaa lol 😆 I'm just thankful none of the Crews were hurt, or killed ❤ I love this show, it can keep you on the edge of your seat 💺 and especially if you've been watching for years! Hopefully GOLD SOON! Thanks for sharing with us!
The thing that sucks is if they ran as much as they could have. With no issues i.e. raging water from floods, giant boulders, etc. They would have had some real good gold. Just wish they could have run more through the sluce. This team should be raking in money.
They’ve been playing with this same boulder since last season. They’ve dug out from underneath it as far as they feel comfortable and I’m sure all they are doing is trying to move it so they can get the rest of the gold out from under it.
*I think these folks are delusional.* They will never find enough gold in that area to provide a living for all of them. Gold Fever is addicting and being on a show/seeing yourself on tv doesn't hurt either.
Lots of determination, tenacity, dedication (apart from the ex-marine whimp), but no business acumen. This is a high risk enterprise with everything stacked against you - difficult terrain, awful logistics, melt water, rain water, large boulders, slow progress, redoing work 3 or 4 times and diving in the water. The probability of getting to the paystreak is very slim so the rewards are actually minimal. They need to divert the water like the old timers did. Diving & dredging is too slow. They are just not smart enough to see the big picture.
Okay how many people actually seen that rock moving and one of them in the same camera frame. exactly that was a bunch of damn camera magic nobody was about to get her at all one of the reasons I hate shows like this.
Hey brother im the diver that . Gave sugjestion of wire down center of the dive sight . Brother on your trailor put taller wheels easyer up stream . Hey befor you go too deap you need try go out 3 ft for every foot down .. but look you need spend money to in stalll sun reflectors on the tops pointing light down in valley . Melt the snow for nwxt year ole and you need spend money on chopper lift in coferdam. Looking good tho be safe ..
The whole season they worked around that boulder and then they start blowing stuff up around it and then just quit? No… they did all that for tv … cause it was already the end of the season so they just did all that cause the whole season that boulder was like the only topic of the show… so they had to bring it to a climax by making it finally fall. You notice they didn’t show a replay of what happened to see how close it was because it wasn’t even close. They were all like 20 feet away from it .

This is my show.
How much do the divers get paid for each episode.
Fred was away draining a big pod at the beginning of the season but I don't remember seeing any update on what happened, did he find gold.
The old man warned them of that boulder moving maybe its time to start respecting the old timers knowledge RIP Fred.
Yeah whatever. They had time to set up multiple camera angles for the boulder fall and they almost got crushed.
Not only that, but it looks like they've started rigging that rock to come down already and as soon as it falls they suddenly have terrible horror-movie level camera skills so you don't see anything till its over. No way to tell if they were even close to that.

But the camera was shaking back and forth when it fell. That proves it's real! 🙄 Watching him trying to make his hands hangover shake.
The cameras are already set up to capture the action fir the day. They don’t specifically set them up each shot.

That's because they have a camera crew
I’ve seen them get more scared of a single rock falling off the hill. This was definitely planned and controlled, but I give them kudos for their acting.
Why didn't they clean the material from the two boulder halves or where the boulder was sitting???!!!! HAD TO HAVE BEEN GOLD THERE!!!!
Thats what i was thinking or atleast all the material under that boulder
Because you 2 weren't running the crew
Dustin pushed him out of the way, and then he pulled Dustin out of the way. GREAT TEAM WORK!
Are we watching a different video? You cant see shit when the rock falls, its just shaky nature footage
I feel for Dustin ❤️
I love how he laughs like Dakota fred
RIP Dakota Fred
That's so sad. I didn't know that he had passed away until I read your post. RIP Fred.
Do they know if their sluse even cathes gold? Seems like they dreadge a lot and everything washes out the back.

This is the last episode/season available, right?
Big ass boulder: You can search for gold….but you can’t take it. It’s mine.
Which episode is this from?
The last episode of s6, episode 17. Judgment Day.
Im so disappointed. I wanted us to strike it rich! Yes "Us." Thanks for the show it was a ride!
They’ve been playing with this same boulder since last season. They’ve dug out from underneath it as far as they feel comfortable and I’m sure all they are doing is trying to move it so they can get the rest of the gold out from under it.
How many ounces did they get in the end?
The chances of these guys getting Rich on gold is about the same chance a drug addict has of finding that first time high again.
That was the most staged rock fall ever. You could see the sierra blaster right under the rock. 😂
They were using explosives. Why ae they so surprised it fell?
Least you got that big rock out of the way
You should blew up that rock again
Last year was my hardest year too . Never give up;)
rename him dustin hoffman
dustin fred lewis hoffman😁
It wasn't that close,
5:15 @Airrack - sue Discovery NOW.
They need to find a way to really divert the creek water like the old timers did and have the freedom to dig down.
How much does each person on the crew get paid for each episode? They must have a decent monthly income contact from the filming.
Please go back to McKinley fall, once i saw them big bolder, i was for sure there was going to be nothing but troubles
good job bro ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Another I nearly died episode
Get in there and blast the big rock to bits clear the gulley of all the trash rocks you can and get thru the gravel under all that crap.
At least crush half of the crew for real. Then might be actually fun to watch
Hahaha
This isnt a team you want to film, giving up after Just that rock falling? Ooo so scary
Aw he should have listen to POP"S about that rock
Please next video❤❤❤
I am waiting ❤❤❤❤❤
Strange end. Blow up the thing and start dreiging
Did they get paid? If so how much?

They make such small amounts, not even braking even. Whats the point?
Okay how many people actually seen that rock moving and one of them in the same camera frame. exactly that was a bunch of damn camera magic nobody was about to get her at all one of the reasons I hate shows like this.
It’s video bro. Enjoy it. Not take seriously. lol 😂
Put 4' metal tube on end with grate ma kkk e a plunger no diving!!
How many months away from their families for nothing , or am I being stupid?
I watched 10 seconds and already can think of so many more safer ways to pull that boat up.
The whole crew needs to change their underwear.😮

What are they paid per episode? They should get a 'drama queen' bonus. 😁
Your done ,you just got to the gold! And now you changed the whole down stream you better work hard get your gold!!! Or quit
If BS was money, you wouldn't have to work or be on the show. I didn't see where your life or crew was in danger.
Way to much drama... yall knew it was going to come down... get on with it... pull the producers puppet hand out of yer arse and get it
BS. Blow it up and freaking get the gold you wussies. That wasn’t a close call. Y’all have it on camera and not one of y’all were close!
Somebody's trying to tell you something. 😮
😮
Nobody died 👎

Do they ever make a profit? They got more commercials then gold for sure. Without discovery Channel they can't survive
