Tiny really needs his mom but reveres her: he waits for her approval to nurse, he doesn’t try any tricks or assumes he can (ie: Dopey). Then we see Teeny. She wasn’t like that at this age. She didn’t rely on her mom’s milk, she foraged all the time at this age. It speaks to her independence & determination. Tiny was tender hearted at this age & he breaks your heart as he yearns for his mom’s love & milk. Great insight into monkeys and showing how varied in personality they are. 💖💖
It is a shame that Tina and Tiny are so scared and easily frightened of others in their troop. It also appears that Tina has splinters or thorns in her hands she is trying to get out. Tiny does make him self-look smaller than he is in the hope others will leave him alone. Those 2 need some gentle, love, protection from the others but I know they will not get any of these items as they are so low ranking. I really love to see Tiny and how much he grows and to see Tina do all she can for her precious son. Please keep a watch on them. Thank you for all you do for ower friends.
Jumping for joy, happiness, and I can go swimming. He is out of school for the next 2 1/2 months. He doesn't have to go to bed at a certain time. Pester his sister about whatever comes to mind. being a boy as my Father would say. If I was able to drive I would go get him and the 2 of us could go fishing. At this age for Tiny it is more about the protection and love than about the food, although I am sure he is hungry too. I mean if Tina is hungry at the bottom then Tiny is even hungrier since he is below her. She takes the food out of his mouth to survive. It is surprising that she got pregnant with Tibbin since she is so malnourished. A lot of times they won't be able to get pregnant or carry the pregnancy. Anyway, I just feel sorry for baby Tiny. He is such a cutie.
I suppose you mean Toby - he's definitely a good looking baby, a round face and a short snout :) even at near 1 year old ! They do stay cute for another year or two but then they begin to look like adult and lose their cute look.

Arroz, I swear Tiny's "aunt" is really his older sister. I know I mentioned that before but something keeps telling me that lol...i was really looking at her next to Tiny and Tina, if she is his aunt then she's a much younger sister to Tina. It just makes sense to me that Tina was brought up from her mum stealing food from her pouches and this "other monkey" got it from Tina because she did the same thing to her as she does with Tiny. Again, I could be wrong and I guess we will never know. I do ask myself, if it is Tina's eldest then where are her other children in-between? So I very well could be wrong. Then again, Tina is NOT a spring chicken and definitely up there in age, it also makes me wonder if that other monkey is her sister then how come Tina hasn't had any other babies until Tiny esp. At her age?! My only answer is that maybe she has lost one or a couple before and or because she has been a spinster for so long, she hasn't been around many males in between to mate with? I just don't know but would love to know if that actually is her daughter or sister lol..

At the same time, I started thinking that maybe this "aunt" took the looks of her father instead of mother "Tina" since she's more fluffy, rounder head/face, and shorter forehead. I just thought it could be possible since we see many younger babies where at times we have pointed out that they didn't take after their mother as far as their looks are concerned. Just a thought..
