Me and a friend played through the sequel "We Were Here Too" and it was such mayhem as the radio would cut off the last word you'd say. "Alright the puzzle piece you need to click is the..." or "Yeah the compass is pointing towards a..."
i love this concept. a game where you're relatively isolated between eachother and you have to solve puzzles is pretty original, and it seems pretty well done here. i seriously hope more games like this come out in the future
I can't wait for more! Of course, don't rush or go out of your way too much. This is the only content on youtube that actually makes me excited anymore. Thank you for that.
I started playing We Were Here Together with a friend who had suggested it, but partway through we realized there were future scary portions and my friend is very VERY easily scared, so I never got to finish it. I'd love to see you cover the rest of the games!
I would definitely recommend playing the rest of the series!! Each game really shows the leaps and bounds they make in both atmosphere and puzzle design. I would absolutely watch videos made covering them if you opted to do so :D
that fuckin theater. for some reason the damn marionette unsettled me so damn hard and made my skin crawl. im not a horror guy so maybe im not desensitised enough so im easily scared or something but that fucker was one of the scariest things ive experienced in a game
DUDE- Ima be honest, I was CRACKING UP at how Jell described the drawings. Almost burst a lung. /j /lh Hope the exams arent too hard on you and hope you continue to make awesome videos, been following you ever since your video on Alone In The Dark was released
This video was probably the funniest on your channel yet. I am awful at relaying information to another person, but everu time I remember those moments, I audibly start laughing. It's one of the funniest things to me and I don't know if its just the chaos that ensues with attempting to frantically explain a situation and trying to come up with a solution on the spot, but its amazing. Thank you for uploading this as well, perfect timing since I'm shiny hunting in Pokemon and having literally no luck. Watching videos like these surprisingly keep me interested in getting my differently colored Pokemon, and I am incredibly excited for the next video you have planned.
I would absolutely love to watch you cover the other games in the series, your dynamic with Jell was hilarious to watch. Perhaps the two of you could cover another game in the future, like say "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes"? P.S. I loved the music choices here, Hotel Dusk is perfect for those ambient, melancholic tracks, and the use of the final rescue theme from Ghost Trick was perfect to capture the desperate nature of the rising water puzzle. P.P.S. Good luck on the Exams!
man i dont think i've ever had this much love for videos a content creator ever makes, but legit the way you produce vids and everything just keep me so invested and it's so entertaining, like for what the letter 8 said, this fr boutta be the highlight of my day 🙏
Found you about a week ago, and im amazed at how quick you manage to put out content, considering how high quality it is and video essays/reviews tend to take a while to make. As long as youre not overworking yourself, keep it up! Love the content
I love your videos! For a beginner youtuber, I thought you already had a million subscribers by how much effort you put into your videos. Theyre great! Cant wait to see more :)
Normally I don't leave comments recommending stuff out of the blue but I think you should try out The Upturned! Its a comedic horror game where you escalate a hotel trying to not get killed by the inhabitants so you can go to sleep for the night.
Congrats on more subs! Good to see you being reccomended. Recently, I've been seeing small/new youtubers with high quality content who i've followed from their start gain lots of subscribers. It makes me happy, especially when their content is so well edited like yours.
yes please try the rest!! ive played these games with a friend of mine and each game gets more difficult but also more interesting and the lore builds on itself! i also know theres at least one game where theres a "true" end (that requires extra steps) where you both escape (idk if its for all of them tho bc we didnt attempt it for all of them) i will say tho that we always played in sessions over the course of days/weeks; mostly because we only played late at night and after a certain point we would get too tired, but also often bc we'd get frustrated and need to take a break. some puzzles definitely benefit from one or both players writing things down. there were also a few times where i copped out and sent her a picture of my screen to help move us along bc im so bad at explaining things lol
My mom and I tried playing this game and stopped at the red, green, blue gate maze cuz I freaked out about the noise that the map made and my mom explored the maze without me remembering what the lever did anything
This was absolutely hilarious and it’s so cool to see y’all bounce off of each other and the marionette is super cool love that despite its very brief moment Also as someone who is also going through the college semester absolutely take your time with uploads and stuff and don’t stress about it focus on passing classes I think you’ve got a pretty loyal audience and we’ll be here when you got somethin to say Side note I’m really at that point in the semester where I’m like “god please I want this to be over” and “god please I need more time to complete homework”
afair... the Free game of the We were here series its a buggy version of the FIRST paid game. which if im not mistaken fixes a few bugs and the cranks you have to actually crank.
Yes please, this game series was such an enjoyable series to go through with a friend of mine and we have 100%'d all up to we were here togheter! I really suggest going through more of it.
There actually is a way to get both people out! It involves clicking the torches on the walls at the same time and in a certain order, don’t know if there are any clues in-game that tell you what order though.
I say this with the no hate or anything and also as someone who absolutely loved yall's experience with the game/ this video. Other than the few bugs the first game has, every other critic was like 80% a skill issue lol.
Dude I loooooove the We We’re Here series. My absolute favorite puzzle games After watching the video: the first game is pretty buggy, but charming. The other games fix those problems and have even better puzzles. I’d LOVE to see videos on the full series!
i binged this series with one of my friends a while back and it was such a fun experience, especially seeing how much they improved both design and art wise with each game
This is such a cool concept, I really think it would be amazing to see how they develop it further in the other games! Of course, take your time with it given that finals are coming up, but I think most of us would love to see more, especially with how high quality your videos are
My friend and I went through We Were Here Forever shortly after it had released and it became one of my favorite games. We’ve gone back to play the first and second in the series and it’s cool seeing how it all started
Amazing video! Love that I’m getting to know these games through someone who is clearly passionate and knows what they’re talking about. Hope your exams/finals/whatever go well and looking forward to the next video, whenever it comes.
This was a fun game! The issues I had though were that the chess pieces wouldn't move when told sometimes, and for the puzzle afterwards (the one with the pressure plates) if you have your graphics quality down too low the writing on the back is illegible
I played these a few months ago with a friend, absolutely loved it… although we hated this one, but I knew the later ones would be better. We recently finished We We’re Here Forever. Loved every second of it.
this is off topic but I found your channel about two weeks ago and I've been watching your videos over and over since. I've really enjoyed your content, this video included. Your voice over is really relaxing and the commentary is really entertaining. So yeah, keep up the good work, great video by the way.
I remember seeing this game awhile ago, but I never saw the end, and never knew that it had sequels! Can't wait to see you cover them! :) Also good luck with the exams!! 👍
I'm losing my mind trying to figure out why 8:50 is the most viewed section of the video by a landslide. Are people using a review/commentary video as a video guide?
Ben again in the first puzzle: They should've given us something more harder Also ben again: They should've eased us into it srs the last scene where you're about to leave but one of you has to stay is such a tearjerker. While there maybe a solution in game, when you guys thought you were gonna have to leave one of you. You both didn't hesitate at all to sacrifice yourself. And that was beautiful display of friendship. Which made the worst best friend achievement even more funny.

I thought you were trying to confuse Kyle in the whole rune-describing part, poor fella was toasting his brain trying to understand it

I’ve done an escape room with runes like that, trust me they’re hard to explain in a way that makes sense ahah

If only there was some special walkie-talkie specific way of speaking that would solve this issue. Over.
Damn, We Were Here was a student project? That's rad as hell, it's such a fun idea, and it's executed pretty well too.
