its almost like strumming but i just mute the stings with the outside of the palm pinky end and strum and push towards the sound hole. thank you for the love.
Same here, but it also depends on the overall quality of the guitar as far as how "responsive" the guitar is to your hands. For example, my guitar is a $100 acoustic from a pawn shop that is "meh", versus my brother's $500+ Taylor. When I play the Taylor, I don't have to play nearly as "hard" to get the sounds I want, the sound is much richer and warmer, and the playing is overall more fluid (palm mutes included) if that makes sense?
