  • Hi Beautiful!!!
Thank you so much for watching!
Skincare is so tricky and personal, so treat it as so! This is the routine that I have found works best for my skin, but always do your own research to achieve your own skincare goals.
I know the video was probably full of a lot of new information so let me clarify what a week of skincare would look like for me:
    - Monday: Exfoliation night
    - Tuesday: Normal night
    - Wednesday: Retinol night
    - Thursday: Normal night
    - Friday: Exfoliation night
    - Saturday: Normal night
    - Sunday: Retinol night
If at anytime my skin feels like it is too sensitive or it is just not feeling like it wants to be messed with I will just take a normal night. ALWAYS listen to your body!

A huge thanks for sharing your nighttime skincare routine. Your authenticity shines through, and I love how you break down your routine based on your skin type and goals. The tip about the 'moisturizer sandwich' with retinol is a game-changer, and the sentimental touch with your mom's necklace is so sweet. Your videos always feel like a chat with a friend, and I'm genuinely excited to try out some of your skincare tips. Can't wait for more content ! 🌙✨

Hi there, Esthetician here! You have a very solid nighttime skincare regimen! I love that you have educated yourself on ingredients and products. But I did notice a few things I wanted to give you a few tips. When layering skin care, you want to go from thinnest to thickest. I love your choice of a gentle lactic acid as an exfoliate. But putting the toner before you exfoliate, kinda defeats the purpose of both the toner and exfoliate. Toner is important after you double cleansing and exfoliate. You need to restore the natural PH of your skin. And that's what toner does as well as hydrating the skin. After that is when you want to use your snail essence because it's going to prepare your skin for receiving the rest of your products. Then serums, eye cream(if you use it) then nighttime moisturizer. I do hope this helps. But all in all, you have a very good skincare regimen. I'm very impressed, you just need to tweak a few steps. Again hope this helps and sorry this was so long lol.

10:08 please be mindful that if u are new to skincare or just new to using things like Niacinamide, slowly implement Niacinamide into your skincare for your nighttime routine, if it's over a 5% there is absolutely NO REASON!!! you should be using over 10% Niacinamide. The best are usually between 2-5% that's my only thing about this routine the concentration of Niacinamide is way way too high, her's is a 20% Niacinamide and u could get the same effect with the ordinary 10% and even with such a high present at 10% I'd say use it once a week and built up to eventually 3 times a week no more no less so that your skin doesn't get irritated and it doesn't lead to any breakouts..

Yes it’s very bad! That’s why I said to have specific days when you exfoliate and a separate day for retinol and I even put in the video that exfoliants and vitamin c should never be mixed with retinol! :)
