The Life and Times of Steve-O would be great. All his stuff in chronological order. Watching a guy build up, spiral out of control and then redemption and recovery would be a incredible journey on the human condition.

I hope people don’t put him on a pedestal though, as it could put a tremendous amount of pressure on him to live up to it. Look at someone like CG kid on YT, happened to him and he’s a really nice guy, just suffering from polyaddiction. The community needs to know that even in relapse, people shouldn’t be disappointed because they can amplify bad experiences just as they amplify good ones.

      A Platinum Scrub
Whoa, source? Stimulants over an extended period have actual cases of severe brain and liver damage beyond the obligatory cardiac problems. Opioids aren’t quite the same. Opioids are rather safe over time, but deadly via overdose.
At least in the U.S., the most lethal drug combination prior to the advent of street fentanyl and fentanyl analogues was alcohol used with crack.
Stimulants in small doses over a long period are likely less safe than opioids in small doses over the same period. But a single opioid overdose often can result in death. A single stimulant overdose rarely results in death.

I agree. But in my experience, myself and many in my life, booze and drugs can really bring out the scariest, worst aspects of ourselves. It took me a long time to figure out not to get close to people around whom mutual manifestation of those more destructive tendencies was taking me down instead of ahead. I hope everyone with whom I ever "partied" ended up OK, but those times are behind us, thankfully. I hope that makes sense.

@@shipfusarelaifu I mean there's happy and then there's happy. Are you happy when you're really fucked up on your drug of choice? Probably, yes. But is it the same kind of happiness that you feel when you've accomplished something great, found a partner that you love or just in general enjoy your life to the fullest? Hell no. It's a really intense, but short term happiness that comes at the cost of feeling really shitty afterwards. And it's so much easier to come by.
