What would cause a horse to rope walk when a saddle is put on? What can I do to help my horse.?I have a dressage saddle that was bought for my horse she was injured, she spun and put her SI and back out. She now rope walks when I put this saddle( and another dressage saddle on). I bought a new jumping saddle that does not do this and my old jumping saddle does not make her rope walk. 1 jumping saddle is a Tad Coffin and a CWD with a dynamic tree she does not rope walk with either of these saddles just the dressage. The one dressage saddle is a Tad coffin dressage the other a Trilogy.

I went out to my horse today, and when I was scratching him under his shoulder and flanks he started twitching badly. Could this be because of tightness? He hasn’t done it before really only on first touch.
Too bad you didn't get an answer. I would love a comment on what you experienced and also to hear from you if you tried to work through his twitchiness?
