I hope they actually start showing more of Diao Chan’s sinister and manipulative side instead of just having her as Lu Bu’s trophy wife. Also can’t wait to see what other Lu Bu type boss fights they have in the full game if there are any others.
I think this could be her best portrayal yet. So excited to see it. I just wish they didn't change her weapon. The long sword doesn't really suit her. If they didn't want the chain whip, they should've went back for her dual maces. 😭
I really like the interactions between Cao Cao, Liu Bei and Sun Jian in Section 3. Showing their personalities on contrast as the dialogue progresses does a great job of showing their individual characters; Liu Bei is the idealist who wants the war to end with minimal bloodshed, but he fails to see the larger plans at play and how ambitions clash. Cao Cao is the brutal realist who sees things as they are without any filter, willing to use any means to gain an efficient victory regardless of it seeming underhanded. Sun Jian is the guy who's seen it all and can tell exactly where things are going, causing him to bail out and shore up a place where he and his family and supporters can hopefully weather the storm.
I was worried about the acting being very poor coming from DW9, but actually its pretty good. Its not oscar level performance, but its certainly way better than DW9's voice acting
@@RGisOnlinejust being better than dw9 is a pretty low bar. The voice acting is still dry and depthless. It's like the VAs never researched on the characters or previous games and just started reading off the script.
I like how they portray Liu Bei in this iteration, he still looks and acts like the usual "Benevolent is the way" kind of guy but a bit more "rational". He's the kind of guy that would act kind for the people but will not hold anything back and willing to do some cunning and cruel things to the people that opposes him similar to what his historical counterpart really is. He's not "Everything is better with peace, so why are you doing bad stuff?!" in the previous games, he knows how the world works. Damn it's crazy seeing such a young looking Cao Cao, definitely the youngest he's ever felt for me, like I'm not used to seeing him without any facial hair and so clean shaven like that but the eyebrows are so very detailed too as well to the point that I'm like yeah that fits.

In the demo, Li Dian makes note about something being off about "our allies" during the battle. That could be related to the main character as well but idk for sure.
