Have you rode the Dancehaul pro yet? What category does that sit in? I’m thinking like a fun free ride . Waiting for some validation before pulling the trigger
Im thinking about getting the bataleon Party Wave as my First board. Do you think it will be Great as a Daily or do you think i should Stick to normal all Mountain boards because Thats what i normally Ride. Do you think the Carving will be good and stable with that board and which size would you recommend for 210 lbs and 5ft10, 157? Thank you :)
I haven't rode the regular party wave but own a PW+. I spent a good chunk of time on it last year. I couldn't imagine it less snappy. Seems like it would be a wet noodle. It has a lot of flex and a fluid and predictable rebound. Great for butters and fresh pow. It's a disaster on icy or choppy terrain. Moguls and tight trees are fines, but push piles and hardpack in between and it falls apart. For reference: 5' 10" 190lbs 100 days a year, 20+ years Great board, depending on when and where you ride.
@@chadlucierYikes, thanks for that. Was thinking about getting one for my dad since he just likes to cruise and hit side hits. Gonna look elsewhere since we’re in the northeast and last thing I need is to be responsible for destroying his knees and ankles at his age
@bexyd5750 I live in Vermont. I bought mine thinking it could be a fun daily. I was wrong. It has significant 3bt and most days it's more of a chore than fun. My slush slasher holds a better edge. The fresh tracks and woods are amazing, so it has its place. I'd deffinetly consider something with some kinda edge tech if it's gonna be his only board. I picked up a warpig to replace it. One day I will find the perfect party, pow, carver.
Dancehaul size recommendation? Middle aged intermediate rider on the ice coast riding groomers and some park. I'm 5' 6", 135-140lbs, size 9 boots and prefer a narrow stance. I had a 154 Salomon Craft, but found it too slow to turn and too stiff to butter. I want something shorter and softer. 143 or 147 Dancehaul?
I’m 5’8, 150lbs, size 8 boots and ride 147 dancehaul. It rips, jumps, butters, powlaps, tight trees… the only other board I ride more than this is my korua t finder, only b/c it floats better in pow and more stable at higher speeds.
Which party board do you recommend for a size 14 beginner? Have a friend in his 2nd year. Was recommending him the warpig. Stump ape sounded like an option too but hard to find. Anything else?
I love party boards. Shame snowboarding existed so long before there were party boards (although maybe the fatbob/Shawn Farmer could be called early party boards). Been on a stalefish for 4 years now. Looking at a yes right now.
I was torn between the dancehaul and the almanac. I went with the Almanac! I'm a bigger guy 6'2 with size 13 boot 245 lbs. I figured the almanac will suit my riding style better. I'm currently riding a 161 wide gnu riders choice and its too narrow, my toes and heels overhang way to much. Was looking for the widest board possible I was gunna get a doku freighter, but it's a little more than what I want to pay. I also went with the almanac because it seem like it has a little more snap and charge compared to the dancehaul. Also the dancehaul is only a 157 and I feel like I'm too heavy for that, I think I would sink in the powder. The only thing I regret about not down sizing is for tree riding, I do alot of tree riding, I feel like a short board would be awesome. I hit the park form time to time but I don't do any crazy jibbing. I hope i picked the right board, and I hope the 27cm waist is wide enough. A second runner up was the never summer protosynthisis but it was a little expensive for me because I need a whole new set up and new outerwear. Does anyone have recommendations for boots and bindings that might help guys with bigger feet avoid overhang? Or just some binding that will pair with the almanac but wont break the bank.
Avran did a review & recommended bindings. Couldn’t hurt to beef up slightly if you’re a big guy though. I’m similar size and demo’d it with ride C8s… but DoD, Cleaver, Katana pro, union force probably all good shouts. WW on the 161 is 27.2 … you’ll be fine.
The Biru newer goes on sale...Given its a small company i get why Not. still a warpig on sale is almost half that price. I still want one i just can't justify the price...
Where's Avron? I only check in during the snow season, this guy isn't even angry
my favorite video of the year. i only ride my dancehaul, slush slasher, and service dog anymore.
I have to make an active effort to ride my other boards. That damn Dancehaul is just too much fun.
Me too. Dancehaul, slush slasher and twin pig
im riding the dancehaul and shadowban this year baby
Ride Warpig over the Dancehaul is crazy
That YES All In is for sure a Party!
@@tributeboardshop I'm looking at the yes plc (and other letters wide contact points camber)
Rome Stalefish is a sick pow board. I’ve ridden it in the deepest snow and it just floats like a dream

Got the Biru in a few weeks ago- it rips and pops way better than I was expecting
Wtf is a party board?
Shhhh nobody knows!

Short, wide, bit of flex, fun at slow speeds kinda boards

i needa know too
It’s just ok. I have both and regular dancehaul is more fun. Pro isn’t as playful, but doesn’t really have additional performance
This years warpig graphics are 🔥🔥🔥🔥⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Get a normal board.
Does the carbon in the party wave plus ruin the playfulness or is it a worthwhile addition for someone looking for more snap and responsiveness?

Worst board i ever rode
Dancehaul best board ever
Figured we’d get some mention of a dancehaul pro by now, somewhere in reviews. Doesn’t seem to make any lists either. Validation denied, lol ! 😂
I love my superpig, had a warpig but missed some snap and is a bit loose at speed.

147 in my opinion, 143 seems very small.. I'm only 2" taller 150lbs and I love the danchaul in 152.

I'd go warpig over stump ape. We will have a top 5 for the big footed guys. Stay tuned. -TC
Another Party Board top 5! 😅 If you knew how many unrealistic but fun and cool boards I own.

Try a Stump Ape from LibTech

Ride, K2, and Salomon have a smaller footprint. I'd recommend going into your local shop and seeing which brand fits your foot the best. -TC
