Where it says material size you can change the size of the mats according to your paper so literally where you click on each mat under it it’s just the material size you should see 12 x 12 and you could just change it to 8 x 11
Thank you, you made this so much easier then I thought it would be. I am new to using my Cricut and I thought I would have to cut each letter separately, lol.
When you were talking about moving all the letters around so they all get cut, I think I might know how to fix that problem! Over on the left side of the screen with the overview of the sheets you’re using, there’s a drop down menu to select the material size. Does that have an option to change to 8.5x11 like you mentioned you had?
@@thespanglishmaestra9808 Yay, I hope that does the trick for you!!! I'm looking into getting my first Cricut so I'm trying to learn all I can about them!
What settings did you use on cricut to cut the cardstock paper. The problem I am having is that the letters are not cutting all the way through on the cardstock paper. I have my circut on the cardstock paper settings.
maya22161 I have the Air 2 and it has more than one cardstock setting. It says cardstock and then there is one or two more levels to put more pressure. You can also change it on Design Space before it cuts. You might also need a new blade if it has been a while.

Yes, this hack does work! Change the paper size! Thanks for making my life easier!
Just change the material size from 12” by 12” to letter and it will fix it for you
Thank you so much for this
-a new cricut user
This is amazing! thank you for this video!
Thank you for the video, it was very helpful.
Would of been nice if you explained what setting to put the paper on
It would help if you tell what you are clicking on
Hi on the left side it tells the measurement of the paper. You can change it there.
You can change the paper size so that you don’t have to move them
WHERE IT SAYS MATERIAL SIZE..click on 8.5 -11 and it split the letters for you.
Great video - thanks!
Do you have a video how to download the fonts and then access them in circuit and powerpoint?
What kind of paper material are you cutting on?
What material did you use?
I have cricut joy would I be able to do the same project you did?
Another video that doesnt show me what to click when its time to cut. What material did u tell the machine u are using? Im new and lost!

Can you use the cricut joy for this
I have no personal experience with the JOY
but it cuts all the same materials as the air.
I downloaded the font from dafont.com and it is not opening up on my cricut
maya22161 Make sure you install it into your computer first.
And then you have to refresh the page on design Space
Is this compatible with a Chromebook versus a desktop or laptop?
Hi,
No design space is not compatible with a Chromebook :(
@@thespanglishmaestra9808 thanks!
Which cricut do you have?
