Making a square length of timber round usually requires a lathe. Thats quite a complicated piece of equipment and not everyone has one. If you were doing 500 pieces the option above is very viable in comparison to a lathe and a gouging chisel.
Конечно я такое уже видел и с круглопильым станком,фрезером,паркеткой и т.п оборудованием-Всё это уже посмотрено и знакомо. Лайк за труд. Подписан ранее. Удачи.

You shouldn't be pushing the wood through the table saw like that. It's too dangerous. If you think your hands are far enough away to be safe you're wrong.
This is a great idea, much faster than a conventional lathe, and also enabling a consistent size and taper from one leg to the next. One could always make them fancier by then using traditional turning tools.
All the negative commenters and safety Karen's/Kevin's or armchair bots have no idea or are simply triggered by this guy's initiative and obvious expertise that eliminates risk through repetition and common sense. I doubt any of you could link his audience into your uploads!
the moment of the saw was accelerated several times, what you think is dangerous was very slow and safe, but I will not get tired of writing this to everyone who will point it out to me
That's some sketchy freestyle table-sawing. I cant watch anymore. You cannot run a 8 inch wide board that 4 inches long in between the fence and the saw blade.
Why cry? For part-time enthusiasts like me, any cost saver is what I tend to make. Can't see the need for expensive tools to be white elephants to be used on a bi monthly basis. Rather applaud for simple designs to make. Unless you want to sponsor a cordless lathe. Small shop with cordless tools. Here in South Africa tools are expensive. 1 USD to R20 on any given day. Import costs, mark-up etc. As an end user, I definitely cut costs. Regards.
Please watch some videos regarding table saw safty. You are asking yourself for a kickback. I am also not sure about such a use of circular saw. It is designed to cut wood that is coming from the front, not from the side. I guess it may be dangerous to you and the saw.
There is either time, or money. Each has different values to every one of us. Those with money would have a lathe. Those with time would build a clever jig like this one. Personally, I find that building jigs is at the high end of creativity, and I have a wall full of them. Some I use often. Some I look at and wonder just what in the hell I tried to accomplish. 😂
I agree. Time and Money are not the only variables here. Creativity, Joy, Pride, Contentment, Service, Friendship. Furthermore, more energy and materials go into building a commercial lathe compared to this home grown version. Good on you! Thanks for the video.
A circular saw is designed to have pressure applied from eother above or from the front, but never the sode like this. This will destroy your blades and is ultimately dangerous. Please do not copy this.
Hello friends!👋If you liked the video, support it with a like and a subscription! Thanks!👍
You're right, I've never seen woodworking like that. What I HAVE seen is a whole lot less complicated, and gives the same results.
Ok thanks 🫣

also the table saw doesn't have an height adjustment for the blade ?

Buy a lathe!
This is not an online store, but a channel about homemade crafts with your own hands🤲
A bought lathe wouldn't have gotten him this many views or the pleasure of making one.
Ist bestimmt billiger und besser
Interesting idea but good example of dangerous work without the use of protective sticks.

You should have your blade 1/8" only over your board thickness, I have seen lots of serious injuries and lost fingers.
Ok, thanks bro 👍
1. Use a push-stick
2. You push the wood on the wrong side
OK thanks
There is a reason you have not seen someone do this before.
