Do you by chance have a drum set book from any corps that you could send me? I'm looking to do drum set for drum corps and some sample material would help.
My experience with drum set in marching ensembles (and really any ensemble) is that the book is basically for measure counts, and a basic idea of what to play. A majority of what is played is either improvised or kept in the drummers head.
yeet it's typically improvised in the beginning of the season, and later in the season, when everything is coming together, you have a more "structured" part to play, but it's usually not written out, just kind of pushed in a certain direction
The more cymbals the better.
You had me at 'watch out' tasty
Thoughts on Chino Hills show, and specifically their drum set player this year (2018)

@@kaidenstory768 no yeet is right the drumset parts for wgi and dci are written out just like every other part. no improv.
@@kaidenstory768 Improv is only used in warm ups
@@CephalopodToaster yeah I think it'd be pretty goofy for a real Corp to have a part that's almost entirely written by the player.
What was the song after 2:30? I recognize it and I really like
