I add a roller cage about the 3rd or 4th day after capping. That gives you 3 or 4 days til emergence. But if you want to be super safe cage a day after capping. That way, no rogue queen in the builder can tear them down .
i tried this system last year without results,it's very hard to have the queen laying egg in it.Gonna try again this year,i got an advice to paint the inside with wax.
Just don't get the wax in the cell cups. I have found if you leave it in longer before confining the Q the better. The bees really need to prep it. Good luck!
today I put the queen in the nicot apparatus and after 2 hours I saw that she had laid eggs Do I have to wait 3 days or immediately put it in the new hive
@@besimdalipi You could let her lay more eggs! More to let the bees feed and more to try to get a queen from. But let her out after 3 - 4 days for sure.
14:57 I remember the first time I heard a queen! ❤ Thank you for the encouragement! I am ready to start picking up my queens! 😊
I am soo glad to hear that Sara!! 😍🌻🌻

Thnx❤❤
This looks like a very frustrating technique I know I don't have the patience for. Kudos to you and your determination.
That's why I use a brush and hand graft now ! 😁🌻

You wait for the eggs to turn into larva before putting them into the cell builder.
@@buttsbeesllc4063 Should I release the queen from the cage?

Where did you order your Nicot system from?
It was at least 10 years ago! But I think it was Mann Lake
The queen does not want to lay eggs in the NICOT Box!?!?!?
We use the cups in which the Queen laid eggs only once, then we throw them all away?????
Each q is different! Try feeding the colony while she is confined. I reuse the cups, all of them!
