those town map cards are great, they're a smaller version of the town map posters that came with the red / blue / green / yellow games in japan i think
Awesome video! Part of me really wants to start collecting these, but there's too many others I want for my collection. I got caught up on the modern alt arts being so pretty/cool that vintage fell to the wayside.
@@sleevenocardbehind You got me collecting the break cards after one of your mini-collection videos. I didn't even want to collect them and here I am lol it's a virus
Bandai only published Street Fighter II in Europe as Capcom didn't have operations there at the time. Capcom published it in Japan and the US, as they also developed it. The way you say it makes it sound like they had a lot more to do with the game which isn't the case.
Ok hear me out though. Couldnt carddass be interpreted as カード出す? Kaado(card) Dasu(to put out)? Thats what i always assumed. I never looked it up, but i do speak Japanese. I hope you'll do a follow-up video of the banpresto set from 1997!
i just bought a "carddass vintage japanese card" but i've never seen it before! i cant find any information or other pictures of this type of card other than the ebay seller i bought it from. i love the concept of these "cards" or stickers though edit: the weirdest thing is, i've looked at the carddass version of the pokemon and it is not even close to the same thing. im hoping to get it graded nonetheless though
@@sleevenocardbehind sorry for the late response! i don't get comment notifications for some reason. I figured out that it was a "Karuta" playing card of slowpoke. not quite as rare as I was hoping, but i love the design on it
This video needed to be made I couldn't find a decent video explaining these cards. Awesome work

Wow!!!!!! Absolutely incredible video, very informative, and top tier editing!
The part 3 and 4 of this cardass series that was released 1997 are super cool too

@@sleevenocardbehind oh okay, i wonder why PSA puts 1995 on the slabs?? they made a mistake and just kept with it?
@@porscheguy They recently corrected the slab labels and now put 1997
