- The SNP has been accused of a “shameless retreat” from climate leadership after Kate Forbes claimed her party was not against new oil and gas licences in the North Sea.
Coming under fire from the Greens, Kate Forbes, who took Deputy First Minister's Questions, was urged by Douglas Ross to clarify the party's position on fossil fuels.

Didn’t half get slapped down by Jackie Baillie as well. Forbes looked shocked when Baillie announced the SNP had wasted £5 billion of Scots tax payers money. Forbes is the ex Finance Secretary remember. And they bleat about not getting enough money fro Westminster!
She didn't look shocked at all, she rebuffed Baillie's claims quite easily with a good grasp on the detail. I'm genuinely not an SNP voter but let's work in reality bud lmao
Whiskey alone is worth 20% of ALL food and drink exported from the UK - missing this alone would plummet the UK pound even further. We don't need them - We are a country with a population the size of a city with the rich resources the size of a country.

@@vtechead1 Yes it is! nobody sells glenfiddich but glenfiddich same with glen livet and the rest. Not being in the union would mean the UK could not count these sales as "british" profits.
