Hoping for an update soon on how the iron infusion went and how you are feeling. Also, thinking of Charlie in a few days. So many prayers for a safe and successful procedure ❤
Dear Amy, I have to go and find part 1. I was so hopeful your anemia problems had gotten better and am so sorry that they've worsened. Thank goodness you have a Dr. you like now and who has a plan. My prayers are with you. Please do video the infusion. I suffer from very similar issues and would very much like to see the options you have been given and more importantly if you find them improving your symptoms!!. Your Easter festivities are so sweet and all your boys are getting so big. I didn't know they were all color blind. That must make many things we do day to day so difficult for them. Your boys are all so talented and you and Andy are rock star parents and deserve to be VERY proud!! Sending WARM hugs to you all!!❤ P.S. Northeast weather is bananas too!! Lol!!
Oh Amy! It is SO hard to be that fatigued. When I was at my worst with Lyme (plus mold exposure) it felt like climbing Mount Everest to walk down my driveway to fetch the mail and then come back up. I felt like I had to go sit on the couch after to be able to go do something else later. I really feel for you friend. I'm glad you have this new doctor to work with. Glad all went well with the infusion. I'm really curious how you are feeling now. You and Andy have created such a wonderful family environment for your boys. I love seeing them thriving the way they are.
OMG. I started crying when I saw Henry playing the piano. Watching all your videos, I felt like I've watched him grow up too! A proud 'Nana' from afar here! I'm so glad you found a new doctor. Sometimes that's what's needed - we all need to be our own health advocates. Much love from Virginia!
Great update! Prayers for Charlie and for you all as he awaits his valve replacement! He has always had a special Spot in my heart❤. That is amazing to see Henry playing for the high school!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. How cool. All of your boys are amazing. Soak it up. Cherish every moment. They grow so quickly and fly the coop!! But then the grandkids arrive and all is right in the world!!❤❤❤.
Revisit the idea of ablation if you are really struggling with bad periods. I had one and I am 4 years without periods. It is the best thing I have ever done. It was difficult to go thru because I still wanted children but I had to because I bled all the time. I was able to adopt and still not have a period. So happy you all are doing well.
you can always put different shaped stickers on the easter eggs. like stars, circles and triangles so when the boys find an egg, they can see what shape is in on.
i am amemic myself and have had iron infuseions i took about 2 hours three days a week for three weeks but i am glad i had them so much better after hope you feel better soon
Thank you for sharing! That's encouraging. I am still feeling fatigued but it's only been exactly one week and I was told it'll take a little while. My heart beat is 100% normal though! It's okay amazing how quickly the iron infusion fixed that symptom.
I had bariatric surgery and wound up with low iron. My stomach can’t absorb the oral pills, so I use PatchAide vitamin patches. I had to have 5 days of infusions in January 2022, and started the patches around that time. My levels have been pretty stable since being on the patches! Maybe something to consider. 😊
So happy to hear you have a good doctor helping. Keep us updated!

I just recently joined a FB group for anemia and saw those mentioned.
Sounds like you could have POTs?
