An extra long one today so hope you all enjoy it , Something a bit different with the glass today as well as the usual copper brass and zinc so sit back turn your mind off and relax & I hope to see you all next week. But most importantly have a happy safe weekend my friends😁👍🏻
Love ur videos and your dog's are do adorable i watching from the netherlands and i watch all your videos since the beginning im a big fan so keep making more and i like it very much Greetings from me from The Netherlands
I know it's going to sound funny, but MY favorite part is watching you clean out the dross. I'm kinda OCD, so watching something being purified is kinda satisfying.
What I love most is the captions! I'm hard of hearing, so the fact that nothing is ever said and there are captions to communicate all the thought is really nice for me. It's probably a really weird part of your videos to love, but it's a little thing that makes me feel more involved!
I am Jack’s total satisfaction with seeing junk metal go in and nicely formed solid pieces come out. There’s also the unintentional soothing sound of the white noise coming off the furnace, the taps and tinks, and wire brushing sped up.
My favourite parts are all the visual story telling and gags, each scene has a thought out vibe that shows such a care and dedication but also enthusiasm. So many channels fall into a rut of 'I guess I gotta do this today' but the BigStackD videos always come across a labour of love and outlet for a lovely sense of quirkisim. :)
My favorite thing about the channel is your consistency in production, down to kicking your boots off. I like knowing I'm going to see the big snack and the doggos. I like that you chuck random objects at the ice block and melt random shiggity you find at the scrap yard.
My favorite part is the variety. Every Friday is a grab bag of whatever you've been feeling like melting. I just love to relax and watch whatever you do. I like the format with the melting, the dogs, the snacks. It's never like... "Damn! I wish he wouldn't melted copper today!", it's more like.. "neat, he decided to melt XYZ today, awesome!". It's your stack, I'm just along for the ride.
For me your videos are a whole vibe. There is comfort in the routine, the things that reliably happen like BigSnackD, checking in with the boys, ice smash, etc, but you do enough new/different stuff to keep it interesting. I love what you do buddy and hope you keep it up!
Was going to say the same, its the routine for me!! Love the feet kicking up with the random socks after cracking the beer too, always a great touch. Makes me wanna kick it and relax the same way
My personal favorites are the scrapyard salvage and subsequent teardown and melting of the equipment you find. I also really enjoy watching Ingot and Bullion. Thanks for another great video, BigStackD!
These videos of yours are such a pleasure to watch, especially those different shots on the melts, and those interspersed in between. Love the planter wheelbarrow. Wherever you go, there you are. Have a lovely weekend, everyone, and especially you!
I would like to say I have one favorite thing i like about your videos but i like several things. I love the puppies, I love watching the process of the forging, it so fascinating to me. Something I really never seen to this extent. The shining and buffing of the finished project but most of all your sense of humor. For someone who doesn't speak in his videos you sure are entertaining messing around with silly stuff. You make me smile. You are a lot of fun to watch and i sure do love your videos.
Favorite parts: Ice, ice, hidden snacks, all mechanical/electrical strip downs, unique castings, THE vault, melt schedule, and the ice!! Plus you save everything you can use and recycle the rest, even dust…respect!
Slag and dust melts are my favourites, like a treat as they're the rarest ones plus we get to see that final step that's always missing in regular videos - using every last bit of the salvaged material.
Aww, Bullion was such a tiny little scrapper! I'm surprised there were no mice this week; maybe they finally learned their lessons. And I really can't pick a favorite thing ... everything is super entertaining, from the breakdown, to the sock reveal, checking in on the boys and the final shot of the treasure! I'm glad you share all of this with us!
My favorite part is when you break things down. It always surprises me to see how many copper coils are inside of a machine as you're taking it apart. The varying amounts of each metal you get out of it is always a nice thing to learn about.
My favorite part is when you buff and shine up those gorgeous metal castings after they're completed. I never knew that an ingot of copper or brass could be so beautiful. And of course, "the boys" are great to check on, especially when you have a treat. I do have to mention though that 107 degrees F is way too hot for me! I'm very happy to watch it from the other side of the world. Thanks!
Dude- the formula for your videos is perfect. We have the set up, the gathering the tools, very clear instructions, a sprinkle of laughs and breaking up the monotony with bigsnackd and the dogs. I have gotten at least 10 people to watch thus far. Don’t change a damn thing.
Favourite part is your production technique. Not a word said but good humour. Like mr bean but with tattoos and scrap metal. It must take hours editing and is a bloody good watch every friday night. Big cheers from over the ditch
An extra-extra long video! Loved seeing the variety of melts you did, and that every one of them felt like you were just cleaning up around the shop and had an idea of something new to melt. I've loved these recent videos watching the progression of your new shed, every week a bit more lived in and a bit more organized. I'm here for all the content: dogs, teardowns, motor melts, 10mm sockets. I'm personally a big fan of the teardowns/scrapyard runs/motor melts as my favorite thing is seeing the way you reclaim junk and turn it into something bright and shiny. I also love seeing the subscriber melts so we can get invested in the process. Keep them coming!
My favorite part of your videos is just seeing the overall weight totals. About the melting process itself, I like your nordic gold melts. Easily the most underrated part of your videos IMO Is the good ol' wooden block.
Although I really enjoy the base content of tearing down the scrap, melting it, and casting and polishing it, what I like most is the effort spent to make each video just a bit extra. The treasure hunt that is the old garage workshop was really cool to me, and I can see you're making the new workshop just as much fun for the viewer. Hiding your snacks in awkward places is still amusing. Trying to guess what's playing on the TV has always been fun. The pattern socks are always a chuckle. Love your dogs. Basically everything that enhances the industrial zen that is your casting process. Cheers!
I like that you tried the glass, definitely brings a new aspect on melting. You went out of your way to try something new and that child sense of wonder should always remain (with safety and cautiousness haha) My absolute favorite thing about your videos is watching the molten metals pour, then watching Ingot and Bouillon getting well taken care of.
I love everything about your videos! My favourites are ( in no particular order) when you have just the right tool for the job, the boys, and the socks! 👍
My son and I have been watching you for around 5 years. You were his inspiration , and he's learned so much from watching your videos. Thanks for that. Every Friday we watch your new video together. The boys are just so adorable, and I enjoy everything you do, but I think my favorite parts are your silent sarcasm, and where you find your BigSnackds. Hilarious. And I watch very closely for maybe a glimpse of your face. Loves. Keep up the great videos. 💜
I love watching you tear things apart. Also, I don't know about everyone else, but I personally like the long ones (30+mins). I also really like the brass and copper melts
Scrap yard salvages, Motor melts, and Big SnackD moments. Nordic gold is fun to watch, but I also like seeing slag remelts. I like seeing stuff get repurposed/Consolidated. Edit: I also love the small details like letting the tire roll until it falls, or the different ways your snacks appear throughout the workshop.
Awesome video! Honestly, I'm here for all of the content you add to your videos, even the small things like the humor bits and seeing the boys. My favorite castings are the bullet and can ones, but I also like seeing how everything turns out in other castings. Hope you have a greater day, man! ♥️
My favorite part about these vids is the breaking down, it’s satisfying seeing things taken apart like a reverse Lego. Not ripped apart, but methodically disassembled.
Your socks, the way you kick your shoes, that clown in the corner…where the heck did THAT come from…love the boys and the way you visit and check on them and give them baths. Your production of the videos is good, no talking, but you communicate so well. You are funny as..and I love your videos every Friday night. Ty for doing what you do.
What is my favorite part? All of them! I love seeing you prep/breakdown the components and put them on the fire. I love the breaks and the cooking/eating. I love the dogs! And especially feeding the dogs. I love seeing the molten metal and the casting into ingots or forms. That chest full of coins is epic!
My favorite part of your videos? Well balanced goofiness, coupled with your creativity. Your channel is definitely in a league all by itself 😁 Keep up the good work 👊
I like it all. Even your careful selection of a bottle of beer at the end of your videos makes me smile. I prefer variety, so your videos suit me well.
I like the boiling water in ice, the pups, breaking down things like motors, melting, pouring and your sense of humor. I have to say i often get hungry watching your yummy meals. This was another great video. It was fun to see tiny little Bullion stiring up Ingot :) So cute.
Your sense of humor is my favorite thing! BigSnackD's and the seemingly magical places you find them, ice smashes and/or whatever you have handy to throw, Mr. Wippy the ice cream man who you give so much "abuse," how you can't press the creases out of your flag because you're afraid of hot irons and so many other witty fun things you do. Motor melts and their tear-downs come in a strong second.
Since you asked.. I love copper melts. I also like it when you melt an unreasonable amount of stuff, and then you get closer to 1kk. What I would really love to see is an experiment - whatever it is - with all that steel that goes to your friend. Maybe invite him for a video someday?
Hello sir. I truly enjoy watching you break things down (particularly scrap yard salvage and industrial items) so you can melt the scrap aluminum and/or copper in them. I also enjoy the variety of castings along with the bars and coins.
Honestly, I like everything ! The castings, the boys, and how you transform thinks through melting. I never saw you melting a cars part made of aluminium, i think would be nice. Great week for you !
BigStackD wanted to say Thankyou. My favorite day Friday is not because its the end of the week. Its knowing another casting clip with you is going to entertain me and help forget all about the real world of bills and work and issues. The 3 shoes the other week into the bin still laughing. 1000kgs not far away keep up the super awesome work bud Cheers
My favorite is the part that starts at the very beginning of the video, goes through to the very end of the video, and then stops. Oh, and the disassembly is cool.
I love the break-down and how you edit it to make it almost musical. Copper and brass are my favorites, mostly for the depth of color, I think. I do love the puppy time, too, and the glimpses of daily life- snacks, socks, movies, furry intruders/random wildlife, improvement updates, etc. Would love to see more sand casting, especially if you try new shapes/sculpture (brass monkey? silver fox?😆). Odd question: You have Joker coins, but do you have any Two-Face ones?
Your videos hit early Friday morning, I love all aspects just a peacefull morning here in the USA drinking coffee, admirering the views, the boys relaxing peacefully, enjoying your wit, the occasional "better half's" appearance, always the socks, you make my every Friday morning something I look forward too. So thanks so much for working all week just to bring us a video every Friday 🙌 your though and passion in every video does NOT go unnoticed.
What I like most is when you make ingots. My favorite parts are when you dismantle objects to extract your metal. Otherwise what makes your videos so good is that you always do a lot of different things that change.
I love that the clip of the tire smashing the ice doesn't end until the tire has rolled across the yard and come to rest in the grass. That is true ASMR.
You have such a good way of giving us all an entertaining and relaxing show it’s hard to say one aspect is more favourite. Your food discovery skits are great fun, the boys are so cute, and the melts and pours are great. I suppose if I’m forced to choose seeing the molten metal pour, pool and freeze is it, especially the copper with that beautiful molten red colour crystallising and turning goldish 👍 The breakdowns are also often really interesting as well as satisfying and sort of educational. Love your work mate!
Your unrelenting commentary is by far my favourite part of your videos. You can talk and talk and talk, seemingly without end. Truly impressive oratory endurance. And thanks for baby Bullion footage. Boy has some chops.
Honestly my favorite part of these videos are the goofy antics you sometimes get up to. Edit: okay the dogs are officially my favorite part now. Seeing bullion play with ingot his first week home was adorable
To answer your question, sir... What I enjoy most about this show and what keeps my wife and I coming back is the whole eclectic package rather than any one piece. Keep doing you, it's what keeps us watching. That said, the hoard reveal at the end is always a nice cherry on top.
You got that right. I should be trying to get some sleep because I have work a couple of hours earlier then usual tomorrow afternoon and I usually have problems getting up with plenty of time to get myself put together and out the door. Yet here I am catching our mates latest melt(s) instead.
I love the tear downs. I love the aluminum melts too. You scoop off the slag and it's forbidden cotton candy!!! And I love when you slag melts. And the doggos. The doggos are great.
I love the scrap yard pulls, the appliance teardowns, and the copper bars. Copper is so beautiful both in color and the weird wrinkly texture it makes on top! I would love to have even just a small bar of that as a knick knack
I'd have to say that top three for me are motor melts, BigSnackD, and Aluminium, in no particular order. The process of breaking the motor down is fascinating, I love the sort of pudding-like appearance of aluminium slag, and I'm a sucker for delicious looking food. Huge thank you for the awesome content!
My favorite things are when you play with the dogs, the tappy tap when you do molds or when you smush pipes flat, the bright orange juice color of copper, and nordic gold because it looks like pirate gold treasure. I do like how you hide your snacks. I like the humor you have. I like the field trips to go find things to melt.
I love the scrapyard finds that you tear down. I got in so much trouble as a kid for taking things apart. It's relaxing to watch someone else's similar curiosity at work.
I love the most when you break things down. Even if they have little copper or aluminium. I scrap a lot myself, and it gives me good ideas. There isn’t any parts of the videos that I don’t like.
I love seeing the inside of the stores. The drive thru lumber yard was a stroke of genius. The grocery store had lots of products I'd never seen before. I love seeing the dogs of course & melting the glass was awesome. My favorite all time thing is the ice on the hot metal.
I enjoy the videos where you salvage things from the scrap yard and then break them down. I like your BigSnackD stuff too. Especially the stuff that you end up making. I enjoy watching when you melt copper and Nordic gold. The melts and pours are simply incredible to watch start to finish.
Favorite things: The Dogs! Medallion pours. I like seeing the image reversed and then after it comes out of the mold. “Can’t make sense of tha- IT’S A JOLLY ROGER.” Watching liquid copper change color so rapidly as you pour it into molds. The WOOSH of the furnace when you first start it up. Oddly- Living vicariously through your weather. I’m in the US so our seasons are inverted. When you say “It’s damn hot today” I’m thinking “Ah, that sounds lovely” as I pile on another quilt. (It was -21 C/-6 F the other day.)
I love it especially when you have some big retired machine, break it down in full, and then smelt down what you can. It's neat seeing the innards of the machines behidn our daily lives, and even cooler seeing broken ones repurposed into smelted treasure! Sidenote: Have you ever tried using a lab shaker table in order to get melt to flow fully across molds? I bet it could work as long as you have a plate of graphite or other kind of insulation between the table surface and the mold.
My grandson (he's 4) and I love watching your vids. His favorites are the motor meltdowns - well, mostly you taking them apart and smashing the big bits.
I like the scrapyard finds and dumpster diving, trash to treasure videos best . Taking things that would normally end up in the landfill and converting it into something worth money...
We like it all and watch each video in its' entirety finding them highly educational; although my wife would like less spiders. We do like the scrapyard finds especially finding the projects to disassemble/melt. Having a second 'Quick Melt' segment using pipes, fittings, etc for coins/sand casting is always appreciated. As a friendly suggestion would be adding a '#short' to play towards the UA-cam algorithm, increase engagement and even draw in new viewers. This can be a highlight from the prior Friday's video, a sneak peek on the upcoming Friday video, or highlights from older videos. The pour, removal from the casting, ice block drop, or just kicking your shoes off would all be engaging shorts.
GREAT vid! I really like the 2 piece cast iron mold and hope you continue to use them. I casted a large aluminum hammer,it came out great. Please cast tools and other items you can use. Copper and brass hammer heads are way kool. I have a huge Pick Mattocks head in brass as used by coal miners in coal dust atmospheres to prevent explosions from the dust. No sparks....
I see stars! I like brass, aluminum bronze, nordic gold, etc., but I like your varied format the best. No music, no rambling, no bullshit. I like that it doesn't always work out and your enthusiasm.
Gotta say that some of my favourite type of videos that you make are the motor melts, scrapyard salvages and slag/Dust melts. But it's everything you do what makes your videos unique. From the little stashed food, sock showdown, little Bullion and Ingot, to ice breaking techniques, etc. Keep doing what you love, because it's watching you being you what we like! Be safe 🙌🏻
I enjoy the rhythm of your videos and the fun parts you put in between the melts, like BigSnackD and the boys. My personal favorite metal to see melted and poured is copper- it goes through such a cool color change between being poured, cooled, and cleaned!
I personally love the random food placement. The more creative that gets the better chuckle I have. And being from the US alot of your choices hit home. But the few Australian dishes that are thrown in are super interesting
Its you I like, Big D. Your channel is so interesting. I love watching you pull things apart so you can melt them down. And your socks! Oh the socks make me laugh. It really does amaze me how much valuable metal is in something from the landfill.
My favorite thing from your channel is the breaking down of things like old machines and reusing them, which goes along with the motor melts and scrapyard salvages. I also love your videos on casting different things along with the fact you always post every friday.
An extra long one today so hope you all enjoy it , Something a bit different with the glass today as well as the usual copper brass and zinc so sit back turn your mind off and relax & I hope to see you all next week. But most importantly have a happy safe weekend my friends😁👍🏻
cheers man
When i get the notification that a new BigstackD video has dropped I know the week is finally over and the best part will be the next hour!
Cheers

That’s always been a big plus for me too. And they’re easy to read on top of that.
All of the above on your question at the beginning of video. 👍
And that's what makes it great and sets his channel apart
I feel the same, cudos to him, also i love the puppies.
I love this about his channel. I watch most everything on UA-cam without sound anyway, so i love the captions.

Totally agree! Been months since the last 10mm socket escaped though
absolutely agree.
My favorite thing about the channel is your consistency in production, down to kicking your boots off. I like knowing I'm going to see the big snack and the doggos. I like that you chuck random objects at the ice block and melt random shiggity you find at the scrap yard.

As per your request. I like your tear downs and scrap yard salvages.

@@robitvideo it’s always nice to see another enjoyer of goofy socks. The pop culture touches are super relatable.
My personal favorites are the scrapyard salvage and subsequent teardown and melting of the equipment you find. I also really enjoy watching Ingot and Bullion. Thanks for another great video, BigStackD!

Have a good weekend mate.

I like the item breakdowns and snack time. I also enjoy the occasional slow mo sequence and random socket escapes.
19:38 my favorite part of your video are motor melts and copper videos. But my most favorite part are your jokes😂 and random food everywhere
My favorite bit is either your salvage yard melts or your metal detector melts. To take just junk and transform it is sooooo neat.
Hello sir. I truly enjoy watching you break things down (particularly scrap yard salvage and industrial items) so you can melt the scrap aluminum and/or copper in them. I also enjoy the variety of castings along with the bars and coins.
Favorite parts are the breaking/taking apart of things and the skimming of the slag. So satisfying!
Honestly, I like everything ! The castings, the boys, and how you transform thinks through melting. I never saw you melting a cars part made of aluminium, i think would be nice. Great week for you !
Breaking things down as it helps me figure out what to keep and what to toss when scrapping for metal for myself - thank you.

As a person that makes metal for a living I love to see the laid back "melt whatever I want " attitude of these videos
Thank you for this treat you give me each weekend. The longer videos are great!
Breaking things down is definitely my favorite part of your videos, that and aluminum pours
My favorite part of your videos?
the dogs, motor melts, slags melts and melting random/weird stuffs
Dude. Love your content. It’s fantastic. Thanks for all the cool stuff you do!
The tear downs with good yield are pretty cool. I love the socks, snacks, dogs, no talking, and temp reading for the coldest beer.
I love the breaking down of things...household and junkyard. Also, Bigsnackd and the socks are great to see!
I love the motor melts, it's great to see all that copper wire turned into a solid brick and shined up!
When you're up so late in the states you get to see BigStackD's new upload 😹
Or wake up early 😅
You got that right. I should be trying to get some sleep because I have work a couple of hours earlier then usual tomorrow afternoon and I usually have problems getting up with plenty of time to get myself put together and out the door. Yet here I am catching our mates latest melt(s) instead.
I love to see you learn the old fashion way, trial and error.
“ Mistakes are the best teachers,
go forward and never stop you’ll learn a lot”
I love the motor breakdowns, something about taking something and reducing it to nothing but raw metals is so cool to me
I much prefer the motor melts or scrapyard salvages.
Love watching the dogs too 😁
Love the dogs always!! I think I love the breakdowns from the Scrapyard that result in great melts
Best part of your videos for me, breaking things down. Melting aluminium, seeing the stash grow, waiting for a self to break due to pure weight!
I like the break down and melt. It amazes me what comes out of old appliances. And I like the socks.
Favorite things:
The Dogs!
Medallion pours. I like seeing the image reversed and then after it comes out of the mold. “Can’t make sense of tha- IT’S A JOLLY ROGER.”
Watching liquid copper change color so rapidly as you pour it into molds.
Breaking things down is my favourite. Seeing whats inside random things.
The awnser to you mid point question is yes to all of it. Keep doing your thing
My favorite part of your videos is the dogs and everything else
My favorites are the motor melts, scrap yard bits, and the breaking the down!
I really like the nordic gold and the aluminium bronze .....nice and shiny 👍🇳🇱
I see stars! I like brass, aluminum bronze, nordic gold, etc., but I like your varied format the best. No music, no rambling, no bullshit. I like that it doesn't always work out and your enthusiasm.
Breaking things down is my favorite part of the whole process
I enjoy watching The scrapyard adventures, motor break downs, more thin bars, and hopefully some silver coin castings would be cool
I like how you find your lunch and watching all you do, break downs, melts all of it. Thanks
What I love most are the trips to the junkyard to pick out the big motors. The more ridiculously large the better 👌
