Two words - BLOWN AWAY! Mr. Morganti you are changing my life right now and I can't tell you how excited I am to edit my photos... dang that sounds nerdy... but for real I'm stoked right now - these tutorials are sincerely some of my favorite things I have ever found on the internet. When I sell my photos I will make sure to compensate you for the consistent hard work you have put into these, they are truly a treasure
Another superb tutorial. I have been using Lightroom for almost two years but always learn something watching your excellent tutorials. In my opinion, you are an exceptional teacher - unlike so many other “tutorials” you don’t just show something but you explain why. Perfect. Thanks Anthony.
Definitely he is one of the best. What I like the most about his tutorials is that he covers both LR and PS which I use switching from one to the other as necessary. Unlike in many tutorials by others he goes all the way from A to Z on any subject he covers without leaving any gaps for his audience to easily follow the procedures.
Aloha Anthony, I've been binge-watching your tutorials for two days now. I am absolutely thrilled I found you. I commented on an earlier tutorial about what a Master Teacher you are. I don't know your background but teaching is another one of your gifts. Thanks so much for your specific, concise, well-paced, complete, repetitive instruction. Not to mention your voice is pleasant and easy to listen to. My head isn't swimming anymore (well, maybe just a tad ;))
Wow, I'm sure my comment will just be lumped in with the rest of the accolades, but Anthony you are a fantastic teacher. I'm a photography virgin, having just bought my first camera last week (Nikon D7500!). I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of settings and functions, and Photoshop, Lightroom... and all these other things to worry about. But your tutorials have gotten me to a point where I'm excited (not confused!) to take photos, and after I finish in Lightroom, they look really good! Thanks so much. Because of you I will certainly be sticking with this newfound joy in photography.
Thank you for such detailed, clear instructions and examples. I stumbled onto successfully using the brush before and have been struggling to figure out how I did it. 😂. This video helped me find my way!
I've been using Lightroom for several years and started watching your videos a long time ago - and always learn some more when I re-watch any of them! Thank you, you are a wonderful teacher.
I just turned 75, sometimes I have a problem keeping up with instructors, you do an amazing job explaining and speaking clearly and precisely.. Thank you so much for sharing your talents and helping others like me improve our skills.
Thanks Anthony for another great tutorial. I love how you avoid concentrating on the obviouse aspects of any given topic. Instead you point out and emphsise the very useful and much needed parts of each tool in Lightroom.
Also I heard in one of your tutorials that you have done some readings about teaching techniques, thank you for being conscious about your teaching methods and applying them so beautifully.
Thank you so much for sharing this!! Thank you for explaining slowly and clearly what each function does. I've watched countless tutorials and still didn't know what flow and density actually do.
Thanks, Anthony for the refresher. I saw an amazing video the other day about the brush: if you make the brush bigger than the whole picture ( you might want to reduce the picture to 1:8 to be able to get the brush to cover the whole picture) and have the auto mask ON, you can quick select any part of an image (with distinct color) just by clicking on that part. Nice to select grass or blue sky or any color.
This is Episode 10 of Mastering Lightroom Classic CC. In this video, I demonstrate everything you need to know about the Adjustment Brush Tool including all of the hidden features. Thanks Anthony that was very helpful. I always wondered what brush A and B meant. I never knew you could have 2 settings on the same brush like that. I always had to set up a new brush each time.
I've been using Lightroom for a year now. I found myself using the adjustment brush more over time during the year. Still tonnes of stuff in there I didn't know about. I didn't even notice the obvious A/B choice. Thanks
Thank you for this really helpful tutorial! I just started a 3D virtual tour business and need to learn how to use Lightroom and Photoshop better to process my Ricoh Theta Z1 photos. I will definitely be checking out more of your tutorials. I think this will help me with a shot where I have the sun peaking through some tree leaves that is really blowing out the area. I am going to try it when I get home from work. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! 🙏🏼
I've been enjoying the videos. This one, though, has changed because the standalone adjustment brush no longer exists. It's been folded into the updated masking tool. The video is still useful to the options for the brush in there though.
This is a really useful, detailed, clearly explained tutorial, I found out how to use things I hadn't even noticed were there. Very many thanks for taking so much trouble with these videos. BTW, I discovered that you can toggle the Overlay on and off with the O letter key, which I have found is a useful shortcut
Hi Anthony. Thanks for yet another excellent tutorial which you have presented in a nice slow, crisp and clear way. Please help with the following annoyance when I use the Brush Tool in Lr v6.14 (Windows edition): Choosing a custom effect from my list of Brush Tool presets is painfully slow. The only way I know is to use the down arrow to run through the list, which is not efficient. Is there a more efficient and quick way to cycle through the Brush Tool preset list? Thanks, Julian (Oxford, UK).
great tutorial, Anthony! But I have a question: if i use the brush, i get a WHITE stroke. Till some days ago the adjustment brush worked fine. Something has been changed in the settings but what. Please help!! Thanks from Portugal
Hi Anthony! I recently re-install lightroom 6 on my new computer, and of course I have to reset everything else but it was a feature that I don’t know if it was one of your video or someone else, in the develop module when I move the Mouse on the workspace toolbar disappear on the right hand side when I move the mouse to the toolbar it reappears I forgot how to reset that option if you know it would be greatly appreciated thank you Joe
I'm extremely frustrated by the brush adjustment tool. When I add a new brush the old effect (ex Iris Enhance) remains selected. How do I make it go back to a custom brush? Just selecting New doesn't work. During your video when you started adding the sharpening it was still showing Iris Enhance but then somehow it automatically changed to custom while you were brushing (unless you clicked on something that you didn't mention or I missed). How did you make that happen?
I pressed "New" three different times for three different effects. Now I'm on my third effect, how do I return to one of my previous two effects settings?
When I try to use the adjustment brush, I'm not able to limit the area affected. The whole image adjusts with the slider I'm using. What am I doing wrong?

Totally agree. And Anthony shows the options and alternatives. Priceless!

I always enjoy your teaching style and seem to pick up little "pearls" all the time. thanks so much.
This is the first comprehensive but easily followed demo of the brush I have found. Thank you.
Excellent instructor , very clear and easy to understand format 👍

Thanks, Anthony. Your teaching skills are wonderful and much appreciated those, like me, who strive to improve LR techniques.
Just simply, the best lightroom tutorials. Thank you so much, Tony. I assure you. We all "really appreciate" your efforts!
Unfortunately with the new update, this video is a little harder to follow along with. Im glad your new video explains this well.
Dear sir pl make a video on background change to white for market place.
Thank you, Anthony! The best explanation I have seen on how the brush works.
This guy should also teach youtubers how to TEACH
most excellent tutorials, can not believe they are free-better could not be bought!
This is an excellent video: good, clear descriptions and demonstrations. Thanks.

I have profited from your videos, the level of detail and methodology of your tutorial works very well for me. Thank you for your efforts.
Haven't watched a video for awhile. Wow you have really gotten so good. Your timing, phrasing, have caught up to your knowledge. Well done Anthony.
Another excellent Tutorial. Thanks Anthony

Thank you Anthony. Another amazing tutorial.
Very good overview
Good tutorial. (I do think you should have included a quick demo of the automask function.)

Any idea why Vibrance is not apart of the adjustment brush tools? It's only saturation.
nice and well done !

Look for the little triangle on the right of ‘Effect’. Make sure it points downward to reveal the sliders.
