Eh, I think Zoro is closer to Luffy than he is to Jimbe. The monster trio is more of a monster quartet now, but really it’s the rooftop 2 and the 2 monsters. Luffy and Zoro with conquerors haki have reached a level of power very few have, we’re talking Yonko, admirals, people like Oden, none of the 2nd hands have conquerors coating to our knowledge, except Zoro. Sanji is stronger than Jimbe but both are definitely a tier below anyone with conquerors coating.
I don't understand how everyone misunderstands the Monster Trio. The Monster Trio has never been "The 3 strongest on the crew", it refers to Luffy, Zoro and Sanji. That's it. It doesn't matter if someone as strong or relative to one of them joins the crew the Monster Trio is still the Monster Trio. I'm like 99% sure Oda has even stated this in a SBS before. Even with that being said you're absolutely cooked if you believe Jinbei is stronger than Sanji. Bounties have never been an indicator of strength (Otherwise 8 year old Robin would be stronger than Luffy for like half the series) and we've already seen with S-Shark that Jinbei's main form of attack straight up doesn't work on Sanji and we've seen Sanji damage, if not straight up dismantle, opponents faster and more durable than Jinbei.
The story supercedes all your wants of a character if Oda did what everyone else does with their characters it would be Naruto..Sanji is a real man for no reason do you body women..even zoro stuggles with it ..he had to tell himself he was a wild beast in punk hazard to get into the mindset to attack her seriously looking to end fight
I love Jinbe, him and Sanji are two of my favorite one piece characters, but I definitely believe that Sanji is stronger than Jinbe. This does not mean that Jinbe is not extremely strong, this is just like what Kaido said about Jack vs Cat Viper and Dogstorm, it is not that he is weak, it is that they are too strong.

I’ve always believed Jimbei was stronger than Sanji. He survived a 1v1 with Big Mom 3 arcs ago. Surely he’s much stronger now compared to back then. Also, Sanji has no real feats besides deflecting a laser from Kizaru who we know was holding back. 🎯
