We love the beaches of Southern California - and Laguna Beach is one of the best.The cliffs overlooking many beaches on the west coast are gorgeous. I only wish we lived a lot closer than we do so we could visit the area more often. Thanks for sharing your favorite spots in Laguna Beach with us!

This certainly is far more attractive to me than some of the wider beaches along the coast here. Lovely views from the cliff path as well as from the restaurant you liked. We have often spent the last day of road trips on beaches along this coast before heading into LAX and home. Maybe next time we can stop off in Laguna Beach.

So awesome! I'm always astounded at the amount of seasonal lag the California beach has. Warmest month in southern California is generally October on the beach and a little inland like Palm Springs it's September, but in northern California it gets weird with November and December being tied for warmest in San Francisco (it actually helped gradually ease my friend from Michigan into moving to New Zealand where January and February are warmest). I'm from Pennsylvania so we have much different weather, we get our hottest temperatures during the second half of August and our coldest temperatures in the first half of February (but late January can have colder afternoons because the days are shorter). That looks so amazing!
We miss the beach. So we are retiring on the East Coast.
