As a white man who didn't grow up with a lot of resources per se, I had good education, and my father was very on my case about doing really well in school so he tutored me a lot, and I was supported by my parents in the things I was interested in which became music. I think having parental strength and guidance and being in good schools does more than being born into privelage, because knowledge and skills and attitude become a part of you and you can do whatever you want with that inside you. I don't know people personally who won't give people an opportunity because you're black. But I work mostly in Music, and work with tons of very talented black artists. Anyone who shows up with a good attitude, responsibility, and hard working will get opportunities. Great message in the video! I support.

It’s sad that this has been a problem since I have been born (27 years). It’s funny that whenever a black person acts in a way that improves themselves, they get labeled as “not black” or “white”. We discourage people from breaking away from the box of “blackness” which is in turn is killing the community

I am Korean and live in South Korea. I am 6'5", and I played basketball and worked hard on sports. Yet, my Black friend, who also grew up in Korea, never worked out, but he can dunk easily. I really admire that. Even though he never worked out, he is fast, can jump high, and has great abs. I have always loved Black culture-I am not just talking about hip-hop culture, but the Black movies from the '80s and '90s, where they showed so much love and care for one another.
Movies and songs that conveyed the right way of living, emphasized respecting others, and encouraged self-improvement... (groups like X-clan, public enemy, black sheep, Tribe called quest..etc) It's unfortunate that such music and movies can no longer be found in Black communities today.

If we don’t get it together as a community now, then - respectfully - we had a good run. I say that because 1/3rd of American jobs will be replaced by AI and automation by 2025.
By 2050, 80% of American jobs will be replaced by AI and automation.
It’s great to cultivate one’s athletic abilities, but as a community, we need to be normalizing education, trade school, STEM careers, AI careers, etc. just like the Asian and Indian communities. They don’t play.

I grew up around black people my whole life. I always appreciated the diversity within the culture. White people try so hard to rebel, or be something there not, but Black people just want to be. I always looked up to that. Even when I wasn't accepted for being white or called names. The search for Blackness seemed to be a hunt in a dark room without light. When a flashlight was given? You had to buy cheap batteries from a sketchy merchant in the corner of the room at ever growing prices. The merchant was always someone new, promising you the best, the most regulated, the most secure and stable. Always ending up leaving you in a dark room, looking for blackness, for yourself, stuck in place, spinning in circles.

You said it perfectly. You are a reflection of what your parents taught you. I'm not black but I love the black people. There are so many intelligent black people who have been such an instrumental part of my life. Blacks do not deserve anything less than any other race but like you said, these are choices they make. Stand up for yourselves and believe that you can rise above. Black race has more talent and brain power than many races combined but it is not being utilized to its potential. That maybe because of the oppression that is still going on but you can start with things you CAN change.....getting of drugs, violence, guns.... etc. The black community IS better than that and deserves better. Put your faith in Jesus Christ, study the Word, start with John (Gospel) with a surrendered heart. You will see an incredible change.

I get what he’s saying, but he needs to expand on his message. We are a culture of degeneracy. I can’t with my own folks. I love being black too, but I’ve given up. We are the only people that hate and destroy our own, not support, and not pushing the greatest in our community. He’s not wrong I had my hair in knotless braids, my white blonde personal trainer kept complimenting me. But black people never compliment me. A white man ran over to me recently to congratulate me in the gym. Racism is jealousy but most of us haven’t got that. I’m a business owner and black people have tried to close my doors, frivolous lawsuits, stalking, jealous when I hire them and not respecting me. Others are watching us and how we treat each other.

If one black man can be disciplined in many things in his life and be seen as a threat. What happens when there is 5 million of us doing that same thing? It turns negative again. You have a solution for that?

Proverbs 14:34 kjv Righteous exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach. YA’OH wants us to be a righteous example to all the nations. We are the Most High’s people we are a treasured possession to him.however, if we continue to disobey him these curses you see will occur.

Any time ANYBODY blames their state on somebody else, that person will not go far. It's a KEY sign of an irresponsible person. Blaming others gives them power over you. You're telling people that the reason you can't rise is due to someone else, when it's really due to your poor choices in life. Anytime you encounter such a person, RUN!! Any time someone always needs a hand out, any time someone is coming to you for help and his/her own family won't help them, RUN!! There's a reason for that. People are a product of their poor choices, their excuses, the people they align themselves with, and their sense of self worth. I know you're talking about the community, but communities are made up of individuals and are as strong as the individuals within it.

54 year-old [Gen Xer] professional Black man here. Just wanted to acknowledge you, young brother for trying to spread raw truth about the generaltuonal curses that persist in the so-called Black community. As a youth growing up in the S.F Bay Area, I applied those exact same principles to my own life that you speak of, and I now live that American dream we all deserve. Our people need to change our cultural norm to promote a better global image and get used to competing on a global scale on an academic and economic level to begin with. I mentor other young Black men because I feel it is my sworn duty to give them this game similar to what you speak of in this video. Salute to you and other enlightened young Black men like yourself.

I hear you Bruh, but I would have told that Asian brother we have the best genetics when it comes to being creative, innovative and critically thinking. We produced more geniuses than any other and many not being credited that has gone unknown to the masses but not to the spirit of truth and the universal law of one in all living things. In this capital system and system of white supremacy we must practice group economics like every other ethnic group or culture and do so with pride dignity and with principle to support our own first and foremost and lead the world of nations as we once had before.
